In this video, I show you how to create this smooth zoom through effect/transition in after effects (AE) socials: Instagram: / ty.lorenz Twitter: / tylorenz Thank you for watching! My main YT channel: / tylorenz
Y'all are some liars. For someone that is not familiar with after effects this was not helpful at all. He did not show in depth how to mask a layer, he jumped straight into and did not even explain how to get to the option of tracking a mask.
@@jacrispybbqthere are plenty of tutorials you should go throug before learning effects, like basic editing concepts. Masking is not AE-Exclusive and applies to way more basic things
I've noticed some of you went through the exact same issue I did. If anyone has trouble with this process messing up your composition before and at the start of your zoom transition, follow these steps: Before you start key framing your camera, duplicate the main top clip one last time, set that to the top, then on the mask for that top clip, instead of selecting "Add", select "None". Also, I'm mask zooming through a party balloon so instead of moving that top clip to the second layer to make the wheel's rim slide away, I leave that clip at the top and just key frame the opacity of that masked clip from 100 to 0 within a couple frames. It works seamlessly. Your Welcome!
Thanks for the vid! my one question is in the first preview clip you showed the vertical how do you get it to bounce like it gets blurry and bounces kind of
Imma just say if anyone can't seem to process what he's doing because you're not familiar with After Effects. Please stop complaining, you're moving way too fast if you can't comprehend what he's doing. Get familiar with After Effects first before trying to make crazy edits right off the bat. It takes time to learn.
when i do this the composition kinda messes up, so the start of the clip has a blck background. but i can see you put something on that just mirrors the car on the right insted of having a black background, howd you do that? not sure if my question makes sense
I had the same issue despite following every step here precisely. It frustrated me. I figured it out tho. hey man youre kinda bad at explaining stuff when i am done with my camera panning and zooming in to the object, my first frame is distorted and looks like ive been messing with the angles when i havent. i have followed your tutoorial precisely but i reckon you could try to be more clear and not so unsure of what youre teaching others.
ok but why does my tracker does not work properly instead of making the mask big its making it smaller even i made the setting to position rotation and scale it always happens this tracker is trash
I feel like the 22.1 version is fucking up my masking cause when Im done masking and tracking the objects n play it back it just goes off track even when I fix it back to the right position
Brother thankyou for the video but if I have to use this same effect again and again then is there any shortcut or I have to create this effect again again ?
If you’re having trouble try key framing the point of interest as well at the beginning of the camera , then when you zoom in and play it back it doesn’t turn the angle of the camera
@@scrim0001when you set up the camera , key frame the point of interest (where you’re zooming into) as well This one kinda hard though to do though sometimes I just make each clip a 3d layer and then key frame the position (x,y,z) the z value zooms it in try that
Is there a way to do the reverse like doing the zoom out from a clip that turn it into a traingle without a green instead a shape that we make that the clip takes its shape without having to use mocka istead a mask or without it and that clip when it turn into a traingle that a hand holds like animated hand holding that traingle shape
This has proven to be one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever done! I need some help man. I get to the camera and zooming in but after/during zooming through the clips 2 things happen. 1 the next clip I zoom through is somehow smaller then the entire frame 2 the clip somehow automatically turns to an angle as if I’m looking at it from the side. 🤬🤬 Any advice would be amazing, thank you.

Lo que más le agradezco a GTA 5 es que te pone música que nunca te imaginaste conocer, y fue así como llegue aquí, nací en el 98 y tengo 25 y con esto no cabe duda que los 80's fueron los mejores tiempos de la humanidad
