Gylfi0 The Mega city conspiracy was the main plot, but there was a secondary plot centered around racism. Inter-racial prejudice would fit the bill alongside a more wider reaching main plot. The whole conspiracy movie bit is merely a framing device for the movie's message.

I remember seeing a deleted scene where the polar bear ( I forgot his name, the one in charge ) had a son and they were having a party for his son. He then gave his son a collar that was designed for predators so they get shot if they got too excited.

I'd personally like to see more of Nick's role as a cop, and what kind he'd be. At some point or another, I think I'd like to see Nick and Judy grow closer together -- perhaps HINT at something, but not actually go there (the idea of an inter-species relationship is still very much taboo; the sequel could show that Nick does have feelings for her but doesn't act on them due to a number of reasons) -- and the idea of them visiting Bunnyburrow wouldn't be a bad thing either.

Despite Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in the Zooptoia franchise completely changing their personalities as a result of their character developments as Nick is now more unselfish, humble, more optimistic and less pessimistic, no longer scared to join another career or job in spite of his species finally overcoming the trauma he experienced after the Junior Ranger Scouts incident, more supportive, stands up to people more, decides to let them see that they get to you, and to follow his dreams and goals despite what other people assume his species is and acts and no longer the “sly fox” he was introduced as while Judy is no longer rude, tough, sassy and zealous and quick to blame people for their mistakes without giving them time to explain themselves and what they did so in the first place so she could give them the support they need to solve their problems (She did almost give Clawhauser a anger tirade for the mistake he made in the sequel comic, “Skunk Appreciation Parade” but Nick calms her down and prevents her from doing so reminding her of the lesson she learnt.), more patient around other people especially children and those who are anti-heroes or villains who can easily be reformed, more optimistic than she originally was, no longer ignorant, small-minded and irresponsible and more responsible, humble, smarter, strives to make the world a better place more than even and is no longer prejudiced against foxes after her encounter with Gideon Gray due to her friendship with Nick. tbh I wouldn't really like it if Nick and Judy became a couple, they're different species, and it would be really difficult and awkward. Besides, I'd like to see a Disney film that actually has male and female characters in just a friendship rather than a relationship, to show that boys and girls don't automatically have to assume the role of boyfriend and girlfriend, and that it _is_ possible to have a friend of the opposite gender without acquiring feelings for them.
I understand most people who've watched this movie want Judy and Nick to be a couple for the sake of it, but like, I feel like there's much more ideas to base the movie on, whether it be more oppression, to maybe how they'll be able to work out a "more-than-friends" relationship at the ZPD. I don't really care if they actually become a couple, there's plenty of room for a sequel without having to pair them together like a lot of other Disney movies have done to male and female partners.

For the sequel I would love it if they focus on the other parts of Zootopia. And then of course Nick and Judy together and their relationship grows closer? It'd be interesting. Imagine hybrids!
Though there will be those that will deny it, Judy and Nick's relationship could easily be seen as being at least slightly romantic. So, how about for the sequel, they become the first interspecies married couple. The opening could be a montage of sorts of them trying to defend their right to get married, and in the end since there be no official law against it (since there's never been an interspecies couple before), the judge rules in their favor, much to the anger of the opposing lawyer (who is the film's antagonist). A few years after their wedding, they want a child, but being different species, they can't reproduce, so they decide to adopt. But this time the same lawyer that opposed their marriage argues that and interspecies couple wouldn't make suitable parents. The judge decides to give Judy and Nick a trial period as foster parents. The lawyer pulls some strings and lands them with a very unruly troublemaker child that's been passed from foster family to foster family due to bad behavior. The child makes Judy and Nick's life very difficult, even deliberately causing trouble. A twist midway through the movie eventually reveals that the child is in cahoots with the lawyer, trying to make Judy and Nick appear as failures as parents, but in the end comes to love and view them as real parents. They'll be some stuff happening along the way of course, and some big confrontation with the lawyer, but in the end everything works out, and Judy and Nick adopt the child. They can call the sequel 2ootopia.

If you are interested, I suggest that you send a more touched up version to Disney via email, although this does not sound like the kind of thing that Disney would do. You should go for it though, and, if they use it, you might get a percentage of profits. Make sure to copyright whatever you send to them though so that they cannot steal it without giving you credit or, if you're willing to negotiate a little, money. P.S. Love the title! The only reason I have that Disney would not do this is because it is nothing like the first movie, or anything that they have done before, and Disney likes to keep a central theme in all there movies. But, yet again, it doesn't hurt to try! If you don't, I might have to ;) Peace

Yes, there is a second Zoolander, though it is not nearly as good. I agree that Disney probably wouldn't accept it, but that's your choice not to try. Also, I personally think it would be great to mimic Lion King 1 1/2, where it is based around side characters' pasts, and show the story of Wilde Side and how come they no longer use collars.
The only animals they decided to make... er, "sentient" were mammals. I heard that the creators left all mention of human beings, or even apes, absent on purpose as well. Reptiles and birds certainly do exist in their world, though.
I don't really want a spy movie. They did that with Cars 2. I would like to see a story starting with Nick married to a lovely fox and Judy was married to another rabbit cop who has since died and left Judy to take care of their little brood of kids. Nick and his wife have not yet had kids, so when Judy falls ill or is somehow made to no longer be around, Nick promises to take care of the little rabbits. Then he finds out that his wife is pregnant. And when they start raising a fox cub along with all of the rabbit.... cubs? they find out that some prejudices are still lingering. Nick and his wife have to convince Judy's parents that his family is the best place for the little rabbits to be raised, since it would allow for them to grow up seeing life as a predator is no different than what they had seen as being brought up by their natural parents.
All these deleted scenes would be great in a sequel. It's so amazing what potential there was for the movie and sadly were never used. I really hope they make a sequel to this. I REALLY HOPE THEY DO!
I think for the most part they made they right call dropping those scenes. Good scenes for sure but might have hurt the pacing of the film. I would like to see the Fennec/Nick relationship explored in a sequel though. I would like a sequel about Nick struggling to balance his old life with his new one. He's a cop now, but he has a lot of connections with criminals. Imagine if for example he had to haul Fennec in? This could prompt him to tell Judy about how they met in a flashback sequence. It could start off with him turning a blind eye to some minor things his friends do (like Flash speeding at the end of Zootopia for example) and getting in trouble for not upholding the honor of his badge. Honestly rather than making him a cop I think making him a CI would have been much better as it wouldn't put him in this position. As a CI he'd have no obligation to rat out his friends but could still help with Judy's investigations. Can't wait to see what direction they go with a sequel though ^_^

Because they don't need to; because its cliche and lazy; because they share no chemistry; because they're different species; because it doesn't fit with the genre. Just because one main character is female and another is male doesn't mean they have to get married and have babies- save it for the fanfics.

As much as I'm absolutely in love with Nick and Judy I think I'd much prefer (if there were a second movie) for the main characters to be different. So that rather than experiencing different things from the same eyes we can truly expand the universe and the many stories that each animal has.

For Zootopia 2 my hope is, that they continue the storyline of Nick and Judy being in love, but at the same time, would love to see more detail insight of other districts like Rabbit-district( Bunnyburrow), Fox-district, Cheetah-district, and other animal colony places. Would like to also see birds coming into the film. And lastly for Zootopia 2 I'm hoping that it focuses more on Nick's backstory and the city itself
If they bring back Nick's Wild Times arcade/amusement park in a sequel (make it the central point of the movie, where Judy I guess helps him find the way to bring it back into business), it would become my favorite Disney movie, topping even Mulan.
Heck, there's so many unused ideas that are perfect for new story arcs that there's no way the fandom who knows about it could run out of au story arcs with ocs.

The thing I want to see in the sequel is Nick and Judy together, I know is sounds weird but hey, they can adopt a child that have same color of Nick fur and the same purple eyes of Judy.
The concepts of the shock (or T.A.M.E) collars are amazing to me... for those of you who don’t know, prey still didn’t truly trust predators, so they had to wear shock collars that went off if they felt strong emotions. There is actually a very emotional scene where a polar bear cub is at what is called a taming party, where predators would get there first T.A.M.E. collars, this is made upsetting by the fact that I’m the scene, the polar bear get really happy and the collar goes off. There is also another scene where nick is getting a checkup and the collar has to be taken off for a brief moment. This part is played for laughs as it gets super over the top, with there being a cage ready to be lowered over him if something happened. This is what encouraged nick to build wild times, as it could be a place where predators could take off their collars and be themselves, which, if you didn’t notice, was the only reason a bank which is ran by a PREDATOR, gave him the loan.

And if you see other videos with this kind of situation they are like million people who want to see Judy and Nick together.
Even if the writers can't fit all the ideas into one film, it's always best to keep hold of them as there's always the potential to use them in a later film - there are a lot of ingenious unused concepts here which the writers should certainly keep in mind if they decide to go ahead with a sequel.

Oh my dear goodness, I reeeaaallly want to see Nick meeting Judy's parents. It'll be awesome if in the next movie (if they make one) they focus on their relationship, even if not in the romantic direction, more of their friendship would be great. And deeefinitely, want to see more of a variety with the animals. Because there was nothing with aviary or reptilians or marine animals.
or maybe have the "Sonic" thing going where the inter species relationships would involve the couple having a set of twins, one from each perspective species.
I think they should make a sequel to this movie with all this concept art and junk thought out. Also, I think they should make Nick and Judy a couple. In some theories of the movie, it is said that it revolves around race and racial stereotypes. I think the sequel should add the "conflict", mixed relationships (mixed species relationships). It would be an interesting movie since Disney can make anything light hearted but have serious themes mixed in :)

They should have used homesick judy and detective work! Homesick judy scene had so much emotion than letting her parents know that she is a meter maid and the detective work scene had a bit more humor than a small case file!
I agree about the homesick one but I feel that the small case file is great because the stakes were higher than not being able to use a giant computer.
THERE NEEDS TO BE A Zootopia 2... I'd love it if Nick got some more backstory, and they could use that to show the lives of other animals...but personally I don't think it would work as well is they completely changed the protagonists from Nick and Judy. Their friendship is just too awesome to be completely dropped in favour of a new storyline.
I love Judy's parents. They are so blatantly fatalistic, and they have the best lines! Except for when Judy says, "I am just a dumb bunny, but we are good at multiplying".

The scene where Judy introduces Nick to her parents would probably work better in a sequel than it would have in this movie. In that respect I'm sort-of glad it was cut. Something like that should take place over 2 or 3 films. NO MORE RUSHED 3 DAY ROMANCES DISNEY! it's not natural and gives little girls false hopes. Kudos to Frozen for not even going there at all. I do want to see Nick and Judy get together but preferably not till Zootopia 3. But they could tease the idea in Zootopia 2.

They did so much hard work on this and this world is so huge that they have to do much more with it than just a sequel. Like a series, a game, maybe a fun park somewhere... I dunno, it's got so much potential!

Good God, they seriously need to do a sequel to this movie. They could use the stuff they didn't get to finish or put into the movie. I'd LOVE to see these locations get some screen time. If Frozen gets a sequel, then so should this.
I really think they should make some shorts on some of the ideas like: Chez Cheez, Bug Burga and the Hopps' house. I really would love to see the creative ideas behind their house most because the creators must think up many ideas to fit a large family in one house.
I'm actually glad most of these scenes ended up not making it into the movie. Most of those scenes would have taken away from, or even contradicted, the main story. However, some of these locations could appear in a sequel and be tweaked to better fit the universe shown to us from the first movie.
I would've liked to see Judy's dads reaction to first meeting Nick, especially before her parents decided on a change of heart in the movie. In fact it could've been the trigger that started that. I agree with the other cut scenes, they were either part of a uncharacteristically dark scrapped script or would've slowed the progress of the completed movie. In the end Zootopia turned out excellently with a subtle fringe darkness that didn't take away from the Disney we love.
There are several books, both for adults and for children, that explain the backstory. And then there is the official Disney story about Nick's WILD TIMES indoor preds-only theme park, which is featured on another you-tube video. It's a feature-length movie.

I want to see the Nick meets parents scene. They should do a short where they are working on a case and they head over to Judy's. When they get there, her parents are there for a surprise visit and, once seeing Nick, her mother faints and her father almost tasers him.
I learned that in original version of Zootopia (2016) where Nick Wilde is the main protagonist while Judy is the deuteragonist from several deleted scenes introduces Judy while Nick is founding the Wild Times Amusement Park or starting his ice cream hustle with Finnick driving her meter maid car during her first day as a police officer at the ZPD due being assigned to parking duty in a happy and optimistic attitude and listening to Try Everything (Similar to Iron Man’s introduction in Iron Man (2008) the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before he became a superhero in a car with Back in Black playing in the background.) before starting and doing her job as a meter maid in a happy and more optimistic attitude than in the final film, it later shows Nick and Judy crossing paths with each other when Nick and Finnick pretending to be father and son attend the ice cream parlor in a different version of the ice cream parlor scene in Zootopia (2016) and Judy attends the ice cream parlor herself not to try to spray Nick with the fox repellent she brought with her and befriends Nick much faster than she did in the final film due to giving into Nick’s lies that Finnick is his adoptive son from an orphanage and that it’s his birthday and he is blind. Nick and Judy’s relationship then pretty much goes the same way as it does in the final film and aside from showing Nick at his apartment happy over the success he had that day while also recalling the Junior Ranger Scouts incident and feeling slightly sad about it, shows Judy after being hustled by Nick heading home and feeling homesick and contacting her family before going to bed while also showing a scene where Judy while trying to solve the Emmet Otterton case uses an elephant sized computer and learns of Nick selling a pawsicple to a Emmett and feels reluctant to work with Nick due to his behavior but agrees to do so anyway, an extended scene with Nick and Judy’s conservation with Mr. Big; Mr. Big congratulates Judy for saving his daughter Fru Fru calling her a hero cop making her happy while still mad at Nick for his skunk bug rug killing his grand-mamma calling him a scam con artist leaving Nick pissed off over Mr. Big’s remark. It focuses on Judy confronting Nick naked about his tame color and an extended scene with Nick and Judy being chased by the savage Manchas. This actually makes me want to watch the original version of Zooptoia where Nick is the main protagonist instead of Judy and see those deleted scenes and unseen concepts in actual film form. Zooptoia (2016) has some interesting deleted scenes just as Wall-E (2008) does, I wonder if Elemental (2023), Cars 3 (2017), Zootopia Plus (2022), Sing (2016) or Sing 2 (2021) have any too?
