I love Greece, culture, history and art. I spent amaizing vacations few times. Nice people, excellent weather. How beautiful is Sietaki when Greeks play and dance! ❤️🇵🇱
as an italian british . this song literally raised me . greece is my second home we go every year . such a beautiful culture and such amazing people . i 🤍 greece with all my heart
Greece sounds like such an amazing place! The people just seem to have a wonderful, down-to-earth joie de vivre. Def plan to finally visit once the world returns to normal!
@Akata Sakayaki Since the Greeks were in the area first before the Turks invaded, I'm going to say it's a GREEK DANCE. Greeks there for thousands of years.
@@jillgarcia7335 YASSS!!! My mum always gets mistaken for being Greek so we wondered if there was some connection in our history! I've always been fascinated by Greek mythology and I recently went to Kefalonia and it was the best week of my life! Sadly, I did one of those DNA tests and it came back English, Irish and Welsh, which I already knew :(
Im from Sudan 🇸🇩 💔our house was next to the Greek embassy, school, church. I used to hear it all the time when every time they had a party. Beautiful memories
So nice, i am proud to have such talented Greek neighbours with a fantastic high culture ! Lots of love from Atatürk's Türkiye - peace at home, peace in the world. We are stronger together, just like this dancing !
What a beautiful comment . As human beings we have so much that holds us together than tears us apart. The 1% who own all the wealth of the entire planet will make sure we try and tear each other apart-it’s a distraction.
Gracias HELLAS
I am a proud Lebanese Greek and I remember attending Greek cultural classes to learn sirtaki and other dances too of course. This was always my favourite and always will be with its mixture of the slow and fast rhythms from our hasapiko dance. I love that Greece still retains our rich heritage of folk dancing, it is such important part of our traditions. I remember one visitor asking how can we keep to the same rhythm without becoming confused or exhausted. I still laugh because for me, it was the least of my concerns. Dancing on an uneven surface with high heel shoes is the real test of the dance. Beautiful performance.
@Akata Sakayaki it's true, the origins of sirtaki isTurkish. There are also other dances shared by Greeks and Turks - zeibekiko for example and Turks call it Zeybek dance. Another example is the ciftetelli dance which we call tsifteteli Turkiko. Size iyi gunler.
My 21 yr old neace is greek Aussie she likes that song to I have two neices who have greek blood they are my angels the Greeks taught me how to make mouska it's easy iàm 55
@@mustafasayn5200 BWHAHAAHAHAHAAA!!!! 🤡🤣 The Only Culture in Anatolia is the HELLENIC LEGACY !!! You ARE NOT a part of that! Always remember that Goofy! 😃
@@mustafasayn5200Nothing is like Greece mufasa. Greece has better Music, Language, Cuisine, History. You can only show a few Greek Monuments there, what else? Your yurt tents? 😂 Malaka
Love it love it love it absolutely love it. I love the Zorba as my family is Greek Macedonian as well and Italian and Polish and Irish and Welsh sister-in-law‘s. I am proud of all my family members here in Australia. I love them all. God bless them and God bless, Greece.
Beautiful music .Travelled to Greece a few years ago it was just amazing the history the people the scenery just wonderful .I hope to get the opportunity to go again .
And the music played. Perhaps it was from Greece, Athens. Yes, from Greece. And, so I listened, and the music spoke/sang to me, like a lullaby, like a love song; like the act of making love. And, I thanked my God, for such beauty; the beauty of song, of music, and dance; such beautiful musicians & dancers. Youth has come down from the heavens; we have been blessed 'by the gods' , by the muses...by this piece, this song. Thank you! Bravo!
Volimo vas braćo naša ! Prelepa pesma, divni ljudi . Kada odem dole osećam se kao kod svoje kuće ! Jako gostoprimljiv narod ! ❤️❤️❤️ Pozdrav iz Srbije ❤️

Our church hosts a Greek festival every year and this is one of the songs we dance to, and we're required to wear black high heels. It's incredibly painful because performances can last anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour. It depends on what our dance instructor wants us to do.
i like snakes Can’t you buy some black high heels built specifically for dancing? Like with a curved arch? Maybe with a Mary Jane strap? Maybe have some custom made?
