That's weird. In my case, almost all my videos are copyrighted too, but "the owner allows the content to be used on RU-vid". Everyone can watch the videos and the ad revenue goes to the owners. I prefer it this way since I don't want to make money off these videos anyway. But it's pretty new and some artists still don't allow this. In such a case, it's a potential copyright strike, so you better steer clear of that. So the first thing I do is download the original video off RU-vid and immediately try uploading it (without making it public) before subbing it to check if it gets blocked or if the owner allows using the content. And only then will I try to sub it.
