Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ru-vid.comUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
Hi Paul problem I have only recently is each time I attempt to view my cameras on my iPhone 6 a message appears [ cameras off line ] there’s no problem on my monitors that are hard lined, however both phone and both of my PCs show the same message Cameras off line. Any advice would be great thanks. PS I spoke with apple, also tried several times ZOSI basically ignored. This is not my first system I’ve been active for over 13 years
Hello Paul, Good revieuw by the way, maby you can help me with my problem, i have a ZOSi 8 channel NVR with 4 camera's, do you maby know how i can set the settings so that i can only scan seperatly between the 4 camera's with footage, and block the other 4 with no footage. I only want to scan/ cycle between channel 1-2-3-4 and shut out 5 til 8, does this DVR/NVR support this mode Regards
Good question my freind I have the same problem I only want to scan four cameras at a time and it constantly scans all eight with four blank screens I ordered the four channel dvr from zozi and they sent me the eight channel one I've searched for an option to blank out four of the channels I'm not useing but can not find anything in settings options
do you know how to add cameras to this nvr? i have the zr08dp nvr it looks like the same user interface that you show but i can't get the extra cams o got to show. it show the 4 it came with. i even turned one off and it would not even add one of the new cams to replace the one i turned off. it show the cam and n the video i see the wifi icon but no feed. and the wifi goes on and off all the time so it is not fully connected. do you have any ideas? or is this unit just a paperweight with 4 cams? thanks
I have a issue where I bought a rotating zosi camera and connected it to my 16 zosi system, and I can't figure out how to move it around via mobile app. Or NVR I contacted zosi and it's practically impossible to get a straight forward answer from them. Any suggestions?
Hi, do I really need to use the cable Ethernet for online remote? I bought the wifi usb key RT3070 ask per Zosi spec. I connected that wifi usb and I was able to see my wifi connection of my router. It is connected and in the page of Network, the Networking Approach is Wifi and Network Status is Connected and Cloud Server Status is also Connected. But when I do the "Test", it says it cannot connect to Network". Can you confirm me that I need to connect with the cable and not wifi?

Managed to set up the Device through device manager, and find it., however, the listing of the deviccce manager shows a small circle with exclamation mark init and the cameras, any ideas where I have gone wrong??
I want to be able to see the multi-screen view with One the big square adn the other 7 on the sides. How do I make it STAY that way? After a new minurts it reverts back to the "Holliwood sqares" view.
Marlene Levine you can add a bnc splitter on the camera wire that you want, right before it plugs into the cameras dvr receiver, and from there connect to a second monitor
How does it work when your phone's wifi is off? That's my problem. The wifi on your phone is on. I connect when my wifi is on, but when I leave I lose connection
Can some body do a worth while video on connecting to the internet, router setting etc, these are the most important aspects that are not described. Any fool can un box and connect a camera and plug in a lead..
When you first log into the app, where did you get the account & password from? Do you set it up in the Zosi box or their website? Not the admin/password at the end of the video but @2:06 in this video. Thanks!
Hi on the phone you can't view 8 camera together live it's 4 only and would be live only when you open the fourth together when you see it so when you come out the live will stop
But quick question how do you do the notifications that are sent to your phone I have a iPhone but I want to have it where the motion is not too sensitive so if I’m not at home and say somebody rings the doorbell or somebody comes in front of the camera how do you get it where that is sent to your phone automatically I’m trying to get it where it’s not too sensitive so if you kind of know what I’m talking about give me a text message back thanks

DVR shuts off intermittently, as much as multiple times a day, when it does it beeps. Nothing else in the house has problems. 1. Why is it doing this? I've checked settings, no boxes checked for alarms. 2. How can this beeping be disabled?
try connecting it through a power surge protector, because surge protectors output a steady current. make sure that the unit is kept in mild temperature room. it also could the hardrive, gone bad, or not compatible with the unit
@@paulmarques3109 I'll try a surge protector. It's located in a bedroom, so the ambient temperature is mild. I hope it's compatible, it came in the same box with the cameras. Thank you for your prompt reply!
I switched power strips/surge protector, not beeping/rebooting as much. Thank you for that recommendation! Having problems with playback now. Cannot playback when selecting a specific time. It will only playback the first hour of the day.
@@fishingismydrug1 looks like a hardrive problem, or a incompatibility problem. turn off the system, remove the hardrive then power the system back on without it,
Hello, I have an 8 camera system and the app on my phone, at the beginning I see the 8 cameras without problem but after about 8 hours I lose the connection to the cameras and in each box I get the message "Connection failure", I turn off and turn on the DVR and recover them. Do you know what the problem may be? What do you recommend me to do?

Hi since I powered off my zosi box I can’t log in to the box anymore. I can log in on my phone and tablet and it works. Why will the box not accept the name and password anymore? I can’t view recordings or change settings if I can’t log in 😕
Daz G typically the password to your box it's not the same as the password of your phone app,. those are two different things. the password to your box is created the first time you power the box, you are prompted to create a password, and the username is "admin" by default. if you forgot it, you have to reset the box, and start all over
I have model #zro8an/10. It beeps, shuts down, reboots intermittently. I've checked the settings, it appears I do not have it set too alarm, for anything. I removed the hard drive, it still did it. Any recommendations, on what to check next?
@@paulmarques3109 It is. I took the cover off, blew everything out. Found a battery, cr2032, replaced it. Found the "speaker", removed it. Put the DVR back together, hooked everything up, all is working. I did send send an email to zosi also, even got a response! That's the quickest I've ever gotten a response from them. They provided a link, too a software update. I'll get to that, want too give the above a day or two, see what happens, then if needed, I'll do the update. I truly appreciate your help!
Can the system be set to only show four screens until others are needed I only want to use four screens because only four cameras are being used currently
Worst camaras ever made. No support. Call an no one answers. Not system I ordered. I ordered 8 wireless system from safevant. Zosi was wat I got. Typed n model number said no instructions. Discontinued n 2016. I goin back to Swann wireless there setup is so easy. Not this not On line win u walk away

I need some help. I set up the cameras and the system is fine when I connect the monitor straight to the box. I can also see the feed on the android application but when it comes to the PC app, I can't see the feed. It says its playing but nothing shows. I can take screenshots but thats it. The images only appear in the screenshots. I can't see the live feed on my pc system. Can someone help me out?

ok i just received a 4 camera zosi system mine I plug it all in I double-checked it all and it pops up on my screen zosi camera white screen sits there for a minute and then disappears goes to a black screen and that's all I can get is to do in the cameras keep on clicking what can I do. It won't even let me into a menu on the screen cuz it goes black
Well, we have been robbed. Problem... the user guide does not explain how to look at video or the photos that were captured as movement was detected. I assume we must sit for days navigating the video? We are not sure which day we were hit. Otherwise, we could have located the criminals on it by now. They stole everything, including the tv the dvr was connected to 3.5 inches from the dvr!!!! HAHAHA!!! I HATE thieves. But the dumb ones make this part fun. Now if we could only figure out how to navigate this system. Guess it was way to much to expect that info be included in the box. (no wifi, no cell app) Only the DVR.

And next time you open the app the cameras needs to be started manually again. Seems like ZOSI only makes junk. When I start the ZOSI APP it should start the live preview when I select that, but it does not. So manually start the cameras you want to monitor when not at home..........JUNK!!! Do you have any other solution because ZOSI recommended me to watch your video when I asked them for this problem, but your video is only about setting the app up, and that is no problem. But I think ZOSI staff do not understand English, they just want to sell stuff not working.
@@paulmarques3109 Thank you very much for the answer! :) Now my only concern is that the UK reseller of this device only have UK power plugs and I need a EU plug, although they are sold at other places it might be hard to know which size of the plug is needed, I know it is a 12V 2A plug, but the other end that connects to the video cable splitter needs to be a certain fit too, right?

first of all, these units don't come with hardrive. you have to buy it separately. if you do have it installed , then recording is automatic, you don't have to prees anywhere to record, it does automatically. also the hardrive you may have may not be compatible with the system

@@paulmarques3109 I thought the same so I changed my password. I know it's correct now. I changed my smtp to "smtp.gmail.com" which sent me a security alert to my Gmail account when I tried to connect. So something is getting through now. But I still get the same unable to connect message.
when i try to play back recorded video, i get "no data" , so no playback. am i also overlooking something on how to play it a back. again just from the dvr, not wifi. thanks for the help
jack sparrow does the box have an hardrive?. providing you are seeing the cameras on the display. right click on your mouse, then choose playback from menu, then you will see a time lapse bar at the bottom showing the present time, also on the bottom left, there's a back track button, every time you click on it the playback goes back one hour.
if you look at my video at 3.56 the app detected 4 cameras. maybe you added the cameras after you setup the app. erase the device on your phone app, then add it again.
sandra engness most likely it's your phone blocking the streaming over the network. you have to give the app permission to stream over the air on your phone app setings
