i would not recommend GSR guys, for me i find it very hard to move the mouse, i think its too much controlled mousepad and im so sure 80% of u will not like it, try to find a balanced one, that has balanced control and speed, GSR its tooo much control!
Stays totally still on my desk never moves. It hasnt weared out yet as he says (Been through 4k hours with CS GO). I really feel you go into this review with hatings against the mousepad. Guessing your coming from Qck to a zowie. Dont get me wrong i have the qck too in 3 different sizes and its my favorite but you got to be fair man its not that big of a change from qck other then its more control pad and not speed pad or in between. But hey by the way, good review tho i disagree alot, keep it up man! :D
can you please tell me as you are csgo player, what is the best between them? I'm using sens 2 with 400 Dpi. One of my friends says G-SR is good and another say Heavy is good. so I laterally confused and I don't know what to get from them. btw there's difference in prices. Thanks.
@@iTmTm4Ever do you have a problem with over shooting or under shooting. The gsr would be for over shooting and the qck would be better for under shooting. But all cloth mouse pads lose the feel overtime and gets slower.
Great vid been waiting for this one! Funny you mention the zowie is slower than the qck+ in my case it was the opposite. For the real lowsens endgame pad take a look at the the qck heavy. Anyways great vid as always and keep them coming! Ps: some csgo gameplay content would be great

Hi bro, I have the gsr for like 3 years now and I loved the feeling of it for like 2 years without cleaning it but now it starts to feel like muddy even after cleaning it a multiple times. The cloth isn't worn out at all and I changed my fk1 mouse skates by the second pack of stock ones. I don't want to change de mousepad but I consider to do it for a qck... The only alternative I see now is to buy hyperglides for my fk1... What do your think ?
my advice to people looking for steelseries mousepads: go for the heavy version, it will do the job for years even with movement inconsistency in some areas of the mousepad qck+ max and rip in just 1 year, the rubber part turns into like a bubble gum stuck in your desk, it's disgusting i've used both (qck+ and heavy) during cs 1.6 times, now i've got the same heavy for like 4~5 years and it's still rockin even with ingrained dirtness and greasy stuck that you can't deal with even washing it many times...
@@alfred5579 Its still good and i haven't cleaned it once with soap even though i definitely should as its not gliding that well anymore. I'm using a deathadder v2 at the moment.
@@ghost_ib9928 I bought a QcK Heavy a couple of weeks ago and I can confirm that the + and the heavy are not the same. The QcK+ is still 2mm thick whereas the Heavy is 6mm thick (after switching, I much prefer the heavy)
@@puppetmaskerr you're right I think the + was the larger size. Its worth noting that i think they were completely different material. The older QcKs were a smoother cloth I believe (or atleast the one I owned, which had a design printed onto it) and they were alot more susceptible to cold and damp and felt horrible the morning after playing. the newer fabric is rougher and has better traction imo. then again this could just be because mine was older and had a design (2014 NiP QcK+ limited edition)
i heard that even after washing the gsr it still feels bad? i mostly only play csgo with a decently low sens (400dpi 1.8) . i currently have the qck heavy but i feel like it is a bit fast and i think a slower pad would help alot as i need to really grip my mouse hard to get some stopping power. is it worth it or should i just stay w the heavy?
@@Brofessors thats what my friends told me. But doesnt that mean its getting grippy due to wear and dirt? Surprisingly my old mousepad gets grippier after i wash it but the gsr is smooth outside the box
@@JESSEHARKONEN I think the qck is better for low sensitivity because it's a little bit faster and the gsr would be for high sensitivity since it is more control. But I play with low sensitivity and was thinking of switching to the gsr because so many people use it. I have a problem with heat and humidity and I see people say the gsr is more affected by this. So idk. I might just keep buying qck+ every so often but I might give the gsr a shot and see how I like it.
I've been using the qck+ and switched to the qck+ edge like 6 to 8 months ago and I dont like how it loses feel over time. I've been thinking about buying the gsr but idk. I play with low sensitivity but if the gsr is slower I could always up my sens a bit or just keep buying a qck+ every so often. I see some people talk about artisan pads but they are expensive, they're like over a 100 dollars right now. I also get affected with heat and humidity right now which is part of my problem. So idk what to do. Edit: I think I might try the glorious xxl extended mousepad. I always wanted one that was a little bigger than my qck and this will go under my keyboard too.

Yusuf Bozkurt he said that the Zowie mousepad gives him more control, but with less durability and has the logo sewn on the bottom corner, which is annoying, but he still prefers the SteelSeries.

Hi Im choosing between Logitech G640 and Zowie GSR SE (Red). I have also logitech g pro wireless and my sens is 1.8 and 800 dpi. My hands always sweaty because I live in a Hot country PH
You can also try to apply baby powder in your hands and wrist before playing. Might help or not depends on how sweaty your hands can get but you can definitely play a lot longer if you apply some powder.
Hey I know I'm a year late but what mousepad are you using now? I'm also from the Philippines lmao and I use a gaming glove that I bought on Shopee btw incase my hands get sweaty. Cloth is similar to those finger gloves people use to play mobile games.
@@KyzeRRR I am used only Qck pads, for about15 years, and i use one pad around two years before i change it. I put it in water, put in some shampoo and wash it with sponge, exactly like you wash your hair. And you can do it every month or so... :)
@@thetripwire9948 I don't think it's just greasy hands (which you can't completely avoid anyway). This mousepad also catches a lot of dust. I currently have a crappy cheapass mousepad which also has the same effect. I just ordered the Zowie G-SR so I'm very excited because it's a HUGE upgrade. A way to fix the dust is to get yourself a microfiber cloth and just rub it off. It's very effective.
Do you get affected by heat and humidity or do you not have to worry about that? I know humidity affects the mousepads too which is part of my problem too.
