$130 is definitely not bad for the U2. It's not amazing value for money, but I'd say the ZOWIE quality and feel for that price is good. I don't recommend modifying the mouse or the screw tension if you do not have any real problems, you could make click feel much worse!

@@axelwikstrom2444 when you get used to 480hz playing any game that doesnt hit that target will feel like shit, happens to me currently even with 390hz
I love that you open mice up when you review them. It’s a nice touch and makes it feel like a techpowerup review but in video format. I do miss the gameplay a bit but I understand collecting tons of clips for each mouse can be pretty tedious.
The XM1r had the same thing with the screws affecting the click feel. Great review. The shape is intriguing to me, but I'm not a huge fan of super narrow mice or dramatic tapers inward.
You should think of testing the flatness of mice because i have had 9 fk1-c replaced for having a banana base and the glide is terrible, they really did not design the C series lineup well at all. I have also found some of glorious mice are not flat either. I dont see any reviewer on youtube testing this and i think its super important to the glide experience. Anyone can check their c series mice by placing a metal ruler longways on the base and at the rear 90% of the foot does not touch the pad and the gap is huge. Zowie responded to my findings saying it was within their tolerances, what a joke for over 1mm gap.
I owned a EC3-CW for about a month now and I think I just CAN'T go back on symmetrical anymore. Weird because I played alot on GPX and a couple other mices for more than 2 years and I performed extremely well tbh (especially on GPX) but I've forgotten how it felds like to play on an ergo and my Zowie is simply end tier, it's such a great mouse! Interesting take. Today I got my U2, and I have to say my experice is complete opposite to yours, regarding to mouse grip. I have hands 21x11,and this mouse is perfect for my relax claw, placing my ring finger and pinky far front. If I try to use aggresive claw and place my ring figher and pinky near the middle of the mouse, it feels very unnatural. I can feel pain in my fingers after very shot amount of time. I will do some more testing but this my first opinion.
If you have smaller to medium hands then yes , if you have larger hands go with the XE both mice are great :) personaly i enjoy my zowie u2 more then my xe , but i play on a glaspad so the lod doesn't feel that great on the xe On normal mousepads i have no issues with the xe though , so have that in mind ! With the zowie u2 i have Zero issues on glas
@hausgaming I also use the relaxed Claw grip because of my Zowie FK2 from 2017. I want to upgrade to a wireless mouse. Which Mouse you can recommend for relaxed claw if price doesnt matter? or maybe you have a top 3?
If they're making new mice this light with the latest sensor, hopefully they update some of their existing mice perhaps? Imagine a slightly lighter EC-3 wired with a 3395. I'd buy that over some of the wireless options these days!
I actually remembered that they used these on the EC2-CW as well, but I could be wrong 🤔. These are stock switches of course, I never mod the mice that I have for review.
There is always a slight increase with MS, but nothing you can actually feel in-game! The reported latency is indeed MS off, forgot to add that in the video!
Hi mate , one question? i used s2 mouse but as you told in own review microaming is not so good and yes it is, instead of fk2 . What can you say about this one - many viewers talking that this is something between S2 and Fk2 , but what about microaiming its like S2 or FK2 - this is main main question .
Keep in mind that I doubt these screws are there for screw tensioning, it's not the ZOWIE way. I don't recommend modifying your mouse if everything feels good!
You're the first person I've seen mention this when it strikes me as Zowie's response to the NP-01, but symmetrical. I haven't looked up any comparisons, but I'd be surprised if there's much difference between the two (I feel the NP-01s would feel a tad smaller to the U2 versus the standard NP-01). Let me know if you're still interested in this and I'll see what I can look up, I'll forget the moment I'm done writing this, otherwise lol

The _MOMENT_ you turned it during the intro, my mind yelled "symmetrical NP-01!" lol Why wasn't it compared to the Vaxee? Was I just wrong in seeing that? The NP-01 has always come off as an S2 contoured for the right hand, so seeing the silhouette and sculpting of the U2 had me waiting for the elephant in the room (in my mind?) to be addressed haha
man the EU pricing is crazy tho... 170 euros. I wanna give it a shot but just like their wireless EC being 190-200 euros in EU, the price is absurd. guess we wait for a sale if it ever happens

Hey there! I was hoping if you could lend me a hand, I am searching for a new mice, the grip I use I think is a pincer claw grip as I curl my pinky around the mid near back side of the mice and stretch my ring finger like on a relaxed claw grip. I have a hit a miss with a GPX shape which was my best performer but I do not like the shape that much, I really loved EC3-CW but sometimes the back of the mice was getting into my palm while tucking the mouse more into my hand while correcting recoil which was iritating me as a bit of my skin was getting squeezed by the back of the mice, like almost underneath the mice, this was fixed on Lamzu Thorn but it felt clunky and not comfy as EC3, was good for tracking but for tac FPS like CS2 it was like pulling a brick even tho it was not heavy, it was the mid hump, it felt like it is not well weight balanced. So I was thinking about getting the U2 or if you can recommend me anything better, I have 18×10cm hand and I am asking as you also talk about pincer claw grip or relaxed claw. Thanks

Zowie hasn’t aged well. They are so far behind the competition. If it weren’t for the money from benq, for the known brand name, for the inert people who still buy it “because I always used Zowie” - they would rot in a trash. The best thing they have ever made was the shape, that’s it.
Nice review as always Haus. This is really nice to see from Zowie, but they're so painfully slow with their wirelwss releases. I get it, quality over quantity, but while waiting for a wirelss S2, Santa brought me a Vaxee NP01S + an LGG Saturn Pro, and all I can say is what a setup. I'm not looking back, forget the S2.
I wish they came out with white versions, i still have my ec white in my server. Would really like a wireless version. I don’t think i’d want a black one.
The feet feel like Zowie feet, no difference here :D! the design is not important as long as there are no problems, but changing the feet is a bit more troublesome now obviously.
Is it the perkeleen ftip mouse? If yes prolly not! Too much stuff to take a look at, and it takes me a long time to properly test and then produce a video :D
So it seems that they listened to pretty much every single piece of feedback that the community (and mouse reviewers) were giving them over the years, except for one: They didn't separate the buttons from the rest of the shell. That's a pretty serious technical mistake, since the click feel can end up feeling every inconsistent depending on where you place your fingers.

i think theyre waiting 1-2 years to update the fk za s and Ec line with 4k hz 60gram and lower click latency. Enough to sell much of their wireless stock without a big loss and then take over again
