I got mine a couple years ago, was expensive shipping it to the UK but once I started using it any regret and doubts I had went away. I've taken it to the Scottish Highlands where the weather can get pretty wild and this tent held up real well, kept me and my gear dry. In torrential rain you will get the condensation falling on you a bit but that's easily solved with a bivvy bag.
Was debating between this and the xmid PRO that just launched. Good review, dig the color for desert stealth camping. I'm 6'3 so same problem finding a tent. 👍
Yo-yo DB 👊🏻 my dude thanks my friend & hope all is well with you . Take care and mask up caught Covid a few weeks ago fuckim blows . All better now Namaste

Great Video! Thank you. Watched your last gear video... said you had a HMG pack and took it back to REI... would you recommend the YAR gear pack over the HMG for Ultralight type kit? I know its a lot personal preference with picking one or the other, just curious as to what made you change to the YAR?
I personally loved my hyper lite 2400 windrider Solid pack bomb proof , water proof , but I wanted to loose a pound from base weight in essence whole pack is lighter so I went with a UL PACK . If your at a 6lb base weight yar is great but not for heavy loaders just little on the fence with the shoulder straps other than that pack seems solid . Will review in 3 months
Loved that burnt orange, someday I will save up and get one!!! In desert southwest, I currently use a MLD Grace Duo Tarp (silnylon) with katabatic quilt and katabatic bivy. In colorado, I use inexpensive UL 3f gear Lanshan 1 person tent. Stay warm, stay healthy. 😃😃😃😃😃
