Thanks Amy. I'd hoped to have used it a lot more over that period but have been out in it enough now to mostly see how it performs in a range of conditions. I definitely do love that I can hardly feel the weight of it on my back too! 😁
Thanks Crow! Yes, still love this tent and it has done really well for me on some big hikes. I still can't believe how light it is and how roomy it is for a one person tent. No regrets at all about buying the Altaplex. It's a great shelter. Hope you get yours soon!
Great video, I just bought the Altaplex and I'm looking for the best trekking pole to go along with it. How do you like your CNOC Poles? I watched a few reviews that claimed the glue was the weak point causing the poles to come apart.
Thanks for your comment. There was an issue with the first batch of CNOC poles that were sold which I did experience with one of mine out on a hike. The glue failed on one of the sections. I contacted CNOC about it and they readily acknowledged it was an issue with this initial batch and they agreed to replace that section for me and sent out a replacement part straight away. I was really impressed with their service. They have apparently since improved the bonding agent they use so I believe this should not be as likely to be an issue since that improvement was made. I really like my CNOC poles and it’s great to know the company stands behind their products with the experience I had with them. Hope you enjoy your new Altaplex out on your adventures!
