Read this book "Manufacturing Consent: The political Economy of the Mass Media ". It's written by Edward S Herman and Noam Chomsky. It's a tough read, college level and beyond, but very revealing. And it only references more recent history, approximately the last 70-100 years... Ish. It's been awhile since I read it. This whole thing isn't Democrats, nor Republicans... It's power. Educate yourselves my dear friends and fellow Human Beings. American here, but we all suffer from this... Worldwide. Let's carry on, and be better today than yesterday. We can influence by leaving RU-vid and go to other platforms, but this is an enormous risk for creators. If google continues to censor, then it will eventually be just like what happened to meta.
