Enhancement still needs work. - Ascendance needs to be separated from DRE and given the same choice nodes as Resto and Ele. - Ascendance needs a new visual. I can’t do another expansion with the Cata graphic. - Stormstrike needs to deal Stormstrike damage. Crazy I know. This would actually let storm builds scale with mastery. - Surging Totem should deal Flamestrike damage. This would let the totem scale with mastery and let the elementalist build work better.
@@doublem7709 14 times- because 17 would assume you’d be considering any one of the 3 rogue specs as a potential main. And nobody in their right mind would do that, currently.

Thank you so much for putting feral in this list. I see so so so many people complain about how wildstalker is boring and doesn't have any gameplay changes. The vines are passive, yeah, but the minigame of biting them for more aoe is actually super fun and is most definitely a gameplay change, much more so than some other specs. Plus it is very lore-fitting and I love the effects of the flowers and vines. I've consistently been top dmg on the beta in the keys I've done so far for both ST and AoE (except for when I'm playing w/ mages). Looking forward to maining feral in TWW :)
As someone that pretty much only plays shaman, all 3 specs, this video is the first thing ive seen that makes me want to actually play this expansion lol. TOO LONG HAVE THE DEVS IGNORED US NOW IS OUR TIME!
Right now I'm planning on making Holy Pally my main for TWW. So of course it's pretty much guaranteed that Blizz will mega nerf it once TWW comes out. Resto Shammy is my backup now that Shamans actually have some survivability now. Pres Evoker was my third pick, they are just too squishy for a lot of content. Looking right now at having WW Monk or Enhance Shammy as my main DPS.
Agreed, the only thing that lacks the lightning build is the maelstrom generation, feels wacky not to have a full bar when your stormkeeper hits everything in the room and you have to spend even more globals into getting back resources
I had a little feeling the Farseer and specifically the ancestors at first glance had a little hint to a Vesper Totem style buffing dmg and healz depending on your spell use... I'm really interested to have a go with it after hearing you speak about it. Hopefully I'm not building it up too much 🤞
The thing I dislike about lightning version of ele is that is does zero single target. It is all coming from lava burst and the maelstrom generation is super slow which makes it feel even slower.
@@beastlyshotzful it's actually felt quite good the more I've played around with it. It's not better than the Fire version, but it's actually close. I was cranking around 800-900k DPS on the first boss of a dungeon, with Bloodlust of course, but its still really solid. If you take Ele Blast it really fixes ST damage issues
Just Zuco, I dont want to name other streamers on your youtube vid but was watching this streamer and he was running feral in raid. test ST and AOE build and dude he was pumping. Top 1-2 spot for dps fight a unholy dk for first! I'd say feral is going to be good!
There need to be more lightning talents. It's too much fire theme within lightning. Whereas you can completely forget about Lightning with fire build. Lightning build damage sucks and you still Lava Burst way too much with Lightning build. Fire build is super fun though.
I'm absolutely torn between Holy Pally and Resto Shaman for maining in TWW. I love them both so I'm probably going to have to dig down deep and Co Main. Thanks yet again for the awesome content! 💪
Yeah just level both and you will find your sweet spot. I thought I’d continue maining mw monk but got kind of tired of it and fell in love with resto shaman
I'm kinda in the same place. I'm gonna main Holy Paladin if the caster style remains strong. If they push melee style too much, I'll probably just pick Shaman, because I really don't like the melee style.

we get the prepatch next week then 3 full weekly resets of prepatch and then the 4th weekly reset will be the week we also get early access on Thursday/friday that week. atm I'm planning to do 4 chars and it will be Ret Pally, Enhance sham, Blood/frost Dk, and DH or survival
They need to get rid of lava beam, have a talent added that turns chain-lightning into lava spew, where it essentially hurls small magma balls like lava burst that do splash dmg and apply flameshock.
Wish venthyr covenant ability came back for survival, aswell the removal of the serpent stng stacking damage feels bad though ive mained survival for many years, i never liked the bomb-centric builds that much. (The dps tho...) pack leader is the path im going in TWW as it meshes well with a hybrid build (focusing mostly on mongoose and crit) cant wait to see even more insane crit numbers as the expansion plays out tho.
"Spicy" in this context isn't a good thing as soon as the conversation moves away from "fun" and "enjoying the playstyle" and into viability territory. Spicy when it comes to viability just means "wrong" and "misleading" with how the meta works.
@@vanhavihtahousu666 Absolutely... It's just... It's been like that for months now. It can't be a difficult fix and they've left it like that for months. Copium tells me they are leaving it in for now as a test to see how OP it makes the hero tree or if it actually doesn't make it op at all. :)
Do you think for farseer the primordial wave interaction is a bug or working as made (undulation trigger will give a spirit for each target hit by the undulated cleaved healing wave)
@@rhombodazzle9700 honestly I haven't run with Undulation really at all because I value having the on demand spirit guaranteed when I press Unleash Life... Unleash + Ancestral Swiftness is 2 spirits at the same time for a big DPS or HPS window and I've found that very powerful. I'd have to check on the Undulation stuff, but my guess is that it's not intended to proc off of the multiple Heaving Waves.
@@ZucoWoW honestly playing the riptide builds you made for resto shaman got me in a habit that I never use unleash life and when I saw they had it trigger from undulation I had to try it.....I know people didn't really enjoy primordial wave playstyle but I do enjoy the riptide game for me atleast
@@rhombodazzle9700 Def give it a shot... Use Unleash + Ancestral Awakening and boom, you've got 2 Ancestors, and you can really pump a lot in that moment. You can cast 3 Chain Heals and get 9 in total because of your dudes... Layer that with Ascendance or AG and it's a big healing cd.
I agree and I'm not sure why some people claim the ele rework was great. Icefury has never been a fun button to press. Echoes of the Great Sundering is just a silly idea, forcing you to cast a full ST spender before an AoE spender. And both of these talents seem to be likely mandatory in both fire and lightning builds. Flame shock still has a cooldown as well. I really think they missed the mark with this rework tbh.
@@Macrossprime Except for Feral Lunge, which was just added to the class tree... And Lightning Lasso, which was separated from Thunderstorm and can be taken on the class tree... And Earthbound totem to slow for a second... And earthgrab totem to.. ya know... Root them... And Frost Shock to slow them... And Gust of Wind for more mobility or the talent that breaks you free from snares and slows and gives you big movement speed... I guess none of those help out because Enhance is just trash in PvP.
@@ZucoWoW Oh hey your right. I just checked the 10v10 leader boards and in the top 100 there ARE 2 enhance shaman. Sorry one, he is just specced enhance now he played resto in 10v10. Well there are 2 enhance in 2v2, all the way up there at 2400. 3v3 seems to be the sweet spot at 6 for top 100, poor hunters only have 3
Yeah it’s got nothing to do with how good, chances are none of his dps picks will be good in keys or meta. Meta almost always gonna be mage/lock/aug/shadow/
Aff is higher dps is keys and raid right now. Aoe them, arcane, and fury are likely to get a nerf of some kind. Ele is not even remotely the highest dps.
