Yes! This is why I try to take videos too, for my family. If you’re able, make a video of your editing process that would be great too, because I love the look of your videos 🫡 cheers!
100% It's so important. My parents never did any of this and I hardly have any photos or videos of myself. Sad really :( Funny you should mention a tutorial. In my next vlog I mentioned that I wouldn't do it haha! I do mention how I get my look though. Like technical camera Logs and luts and stuff.
This is AMAZING! This would definitely leave you with great memories when looking back in time. This is the reason why I would want to make these videos. mainly for myself and the family. Loving it.😄
Thank you :) Exactly right? Views and clicks are cool but being able to immortalize these memories in such a way that YT allows us to is unheard of and I'm so grateful. In 20 years being able to look back at all of this will be worth more than a million dollars.
Hey! Of course, people often go to RU-vid for reviews and other content (which they find on your channel, of course :)), but not just for that. I also look for interesting people and beautiful visuals, which you also do well! Great vlog, very beautiful nature, I hope to visit there someday too! Looking forward to the rest of the vlogs :)
Lovely footage. I would shoot a feature film with the grade you use. It actually reminds me a lot of the look I could get out of Blackmagic BRAW footage straight out of the BMPCC4K I used to have.
Noi, loved the vlog! And seriously...the ZV-E1 is holding up great! I always forget to do those cool transitions like you did in the beginning. So glad you enjoyed the Hawaii, we've been there 3 times and enjoyed it every time. Looking forward to the next ones! Getting close to 2K Subs 👏
Thanks Adam :) My transitions are pretty low effort haha, but effective I think. I sometimes get luck :P Thanks for the support man. YT is tough waaaaaa
Haha, not sure if it is your nephew or an other relation, but the boy at 07:09 pulled a Goten's move in RL 😂😀 Amazing footage my man! When I think about it I never saw footage about Hawaii, only people wanting to go there for vacation. Great vlog and interesting to see Hawaii through your vlog :) Regarding the lens I will guess the Sigma 17mm f4, simply because you told me 😀. But also you only used clear image zoom instead of real zoom like in Japan. And the vlog shots are wider compared to when I use the 20-70mm f4 (or your Japan vlog :) Looking forward for your next vlog my friend. Wish I could come over to see and learn your color grading in person - still lagging and being partly color blind doesn't help 🤣
Cheater!!!!!!! 😧I go through a bit of color grading in the next vlog I think. Well sort of :P That kid is my nephew. He's adorable haha. He's so shy so I was surpised he did that :) He actually helped me out with some photography later on. As it turns out, he loves photography :) Appreciate you man :)
Noi! What an amazing video man. You really know how to tell a story along with not being so serious! Loved the shots man. Can’t wait for the next one 👊🏽
Haha! One day I'll say something that's so crazy YT will probably slap me with a warning. Yeah I like that beach footage as well. Wait until you see some later vlogs! Hawaii is insanely beautiful!
@noisackda2564 🤣🤣🤣 I do have to ask. How's the overheating on the zve1? The camera has some amazing features but all I keep finding is compliant about the overheating
@@richmediafilms It's a myth lol! No issues for me. Oh, wait! Once time actually. I used it to stream and it overheated but that was sort of expected. Most cameras will overheat unless it has a fan.
Loved the intro and transition from the lens to the soda can! Bro, you are a trip! Lol. Had me chuckling several times. Yeah, cold weather is my kryptonite. It was in the teens last week here but I felt like I was in my 80's then yesterday it was almost 80 and I felt like I was in my teens. Well, almost. 😂
Hahahahahaha! An emotional roller coaster 🤣 Thank you Tim. I was pretty proud of that transition as well :P It was a fun trip. Lots of goofy moments. Hanging out with people who like to be on camera helps a lot as well. I feed off them :P
@@noisackda2564 yep it definitely helps and it definitely shows. I mean anytime you're in public there are thousands of eyes on you and at least one security camera so what's one more? I get it though. A little...😜
@@TimBrownTown It's crazy man. When I was in Hawaii everyone had cameras and tripods. It was very cool to see and I think this was a big reason why my family was a little more comfortable with me and my stupid camera being all up in their faces.
@@TimBrownTown My sister has been trying to get me to do the cruise thing for like forever! Maybe this year. I drove by one when I was in Florida last year and my mind was blown. I can't beleive how big those things are!
Great vid! I’ve been on the same path of trying to get more family related video because as you said, we will all get old and I want to be able to go back and rewatch things and have something my kids can go back and watch. I may have missed it, what was the prime lens you used for this video?
Yeah man 100% right? Imagine looking back in 20 years and regretting not posting on YT? All of those memories lost. The lens is a secret until the last vlog lol! I want people to guess. It's an unpopular lens :P
@@noisackda2564 Exactly! Some will say, well what if YT is not around any more. My response is simply, YT is the public way for them to see it, I keep each edited video on my SSDs in case that happens. This may sound weird but I keep a back up SSD at work in case there is a fire or theft at home. Those memories are going to have a hard time disappearing. Oh man I can wait to know, good focal length and the 1.5 clear image zoom gets just enough reach for most family occasions.
@@TheLifeOf_Zilla Exactly! I have backups everywhere as well. I'm a bit paranoid because my parents never took photos or videos. I don't want to repeat that same mistake. Clear image zoom doesn't get mentioned enough honestly. Huge money savers because of how expensive Zoom lenses are. Plus you can't find a zoom that is an F 2 and under. A prime at F1.4 instantly becomes a Zoom F1.4 when you think about it.
I'm booking a reservation to the Noi restaurant right now... I can't believe I haven't been to Hawaii yet, but when I do go, I'm bringing my zve1 (and like you, the Viltrox 16!? Did I get that right?)
Oh God, I thought long and hard about putting a disclaimer on the video telling people I was joking and to not go asking for free appetizers. Hawaii is insane! Maybe it's because it's so boring where I live but man. we live in a bubble. Everyone needs to see this planet for all it's beauty. Not the Viltrox :P Here's a hint. It's not a popular lens.
