Jeff Zwart drives his Porsche 911 GT3 Turbo Cup prepared by BBI Autosport to 1st place in Time Attack 1 Class at the 2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with a time of 9:46.243 - recorded with the GoPro Hero 4 camera.
This has got to be one of the best "On the Limit" driving videos on RU-vid! That sound.. That boost. Flat six with a blow off. I'm in heaven! Great work guys! :)

oh my god this is so fucking sick!! 5:15-5:47 was intense. You gotta be a great driver to race this track and wow this man has the balls and the skills! spine tingling to say the least - wow! Side note, it's more fun to go downhill bro!
The Swimming Carrot Because it's sequential gearbox you don't have to use clutch it's automatic. But when he downshifts he uses manual clutch so he can rev match with throttle which makes the downshift smoother. I guess those cars don't have automatic rev match and if he wouldn't use clutch the revs would climb up so fast it wouldn't be good for gearbox. I am not 100% sure if that is the reason but it makes sense to me.
The Swimming Carrot In a sequential it's up to the driver if he uses the clutch or not. You can use it all the time, or not at all. Some pilots brake with left foot and blip the throttle when downshifting (it dosen't work if you don't blip). Others simply heel&toe with no clutch, and the third kind, like this guy, use it like in a H-manual. By the way, you can also no-clutch-blip-throttle-downshift in a H-manual aswell. It's all about prefference.
AndiSabin Nothing personal ... "this guy" happens to be one of the greatest Porsche racers of all time - both factory and privateer - and is also a preeminent photographer, cinematographer, filmmaker, and racing consultant. AND - because I worked wlth her for a few years way back when - he had one of the coolest Moms of all time, Viva Margie!
Ghost Assassin yeah, something is fucking up. Maybe too small fuel cell so when running too low and with high G force, he vant Get fuel? Proper fuel cells have foam inside to prevent that. But he is hitting high G force. Or he need a "catchtank" for the fuel so he always have fuel to the pump.
Why does the BOV hiccup that often? I get that sometimes it happens when he's not fully on the throttle, but other times i could swear he's smashing his foot down and the BOV still hiccups. Anyone care to explain?
This is the kind of car we should be seeing at 24 hours of Le Mans from Porsche, not some silly super regulated nanny race with everyone driving the same thing.
GrandOldPuba no time to dwell on the past when the present is going through hundred miles per hour. he might have probably just thought "shit, there goes another half a second", forgot about it, and carried on :)
Why would they allow an angry Chiwawa in the car during a race!?!? I am appalled and everyone involved should be arrested!!! Animal control should be contacted to make sure that poor animal is all right. You can hear it barking in despair the whole race! Shame on you!
