The physical addiction is long gone but the psychological one stays with you almost your whole life. I’d say everything’s better than actual smoking though, even if you use snuz.

@@killac361. no, i know a bunch of people who were able to get away from nicotine eventually, after first switching from smoking to snus. 2. even if u can never quiet nicotine for good, a nicotine pouch is still a million times better than cigs or vapes. actually to the best of my knowledge there is proof that pure nicotine (you can get a lot of these pouches with only nicotine and no tobacco) causes cancer.

@@v.k5417 well I smoked it out of a water bong to start. That is the most powerful nicotine high you can get. The first time you will most likely black out. If not you’ll fall back and your whole entire body vibrates and if feels like an out of body experience. Almost like you are looking at your self standing over yourself. By the end I could smoke 1 full cigarette (all the tobacco taken out of a Marlboro black 100s) in one hit out of a bong. Other than that cigarettes, cigars, zyn, chew all give you a nice head buzz maybe make your body feel a little lighter. Takes away stress and almost feels like a warm hug for a second. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY NICOTINE USE, ITS IS ADDICTIVE AND WILL COME WITH CONSEQUENCES.

I started chewing tobacco at the age of 13-14, at about 20 I stopped the long cut and only use as a “treat” or odd time and switched to swedish snus pouches. the pocket nearly goes into my chin and bottom gums are nearly gone in the front. It’s not worth it man. Upper decker double zyns get me through but even those I can make a tin last a couple days and a bit easier on the guts and gums.

Zyn send him all the flavors and paid him a fat check to make a video pretending that this is a okay and safe habit to pick up for non smokers. nicotine is the most addictive drug in the world, yet id be troubled to find a smoker that would admit to themselves that they are prone to addiction (that hasn’t struggled with other drugs)

@@JoniChristinaI could be wrong but it's not the nicotine that's bad for you, it's all the chemicals produced when you burn tobacco so I'm still trying to figure out why Zyn is considered bad for you since this doctor didn't list any downside other than addiction and possible gum problem if left in the same spot in your mouth, which even he admitted was speculation. If it helps people quit smoking which is actually bad for you then how can this not be considered a good thing. Coffee'a addictive too but they don't call it dangerous for that reason

Honestly id be much more willing to trust someone like this whos balanced and gives the pros as well as the cons. Best drugs lecture i ever recieved in health classes was like this and its stuck with me more than any others from that time. Even when ive used in the past, i still remembered how to stay safe because the lecture gave me the knowledge without judgement. Thats the sorta thing im feeling from this guy. Absolutely correct, if you continue to put it in the same spot over and over again it will cause irritation to the gums, it will cause friction especially as it gets wet, and you need to distribute the use so that way you are not just constricting the same blood vessels over and over and over again. They recently came to South Africa, previously smoked for 10 years (the last 3 vaping) and decided to try these. Haven’t smoked in 2 weeks and haven’t actually craved smoking so far. I didn’t have any Zyns for 2 days and it didn’t bother me at all, very minimal withdrawals compared to when I was without smokes.

Nicotine is still a harmful and addictive chemical, but ingesting it through zyns is still significantly better for you than smoking. It’s still not good, but a whole lot better than smoking. It’s extremely hard to quit an addiction, this makes it so people can take as much time as they need to ween off nicotine while not doing insane levels of harm during that period

Ah thats a classic here in scandinavia, its stronger and you can easily have one in 24/7. But its discreet, doesnt smell and you dont get a cough. No risk of cancer that we know of. But can be borderline impossible to quit (Source: been using the tobacco version since i was 13, now im 26 and 1year is the longest ive made it)

Very commonly used in Scandinavia, I’m from Norway myself and I can say that doctors here do NOT describe it as being healthier than smoking. Some even call it worse so it’s strange hearing this from another doctor. Not sure who is correct but this is the first time I hear anything positive about the product from a healthcare professional to put it that way.

The healthiest nicotine option doesn't mean healthy. It can be beneficial if you are not prone to addiction. As other comments said, when you are addicted and don't regulate your intake, it can still bring side effects, just like vape and cigarettes.

@@McSealnot being prone to mental addiction doesn’t mean you aren’t prone to addiction as a whole. weed, for example, is non-addictive, meaning it doesn’t cause an a physical addiction. that doesn’t mean you can’t get addicted to weed, it just means you aren’t guaranteed to have physical withdrawal symptoms if you stop using it. something like heroin, on the other hand, will always give you withdrawal sympoms if you stop regular use. so will meth, so will caffeine, and so will nicotine. nicotine is the most addictive substance, all it takes is a couple uses to become addicted and reliant on it, and this is coming from a former wake and baker who still regularly vapes, occasionally smokes cigarettes, and uses zyns a few times a week.

I really appreciate doctors that don't brow beat or overly emote or moralise in informing people of the risks. As an addiction prone individual I've found that vaping has been a relatively sustainable and RELATIVELY healthy way of not falling into far more dangerous habits. If this becomes available in my country I will certainly consider it as a means to either take a break, cut down or quit.

It’s basically the juul of Sweden, worked in schools (age 10-15y) and what’s interesting is nobody smokes or ever has like before but they sure do vape or take white snus, regular snus they would never touch haha. Seen 100’s confiscated vapes, Zyn and Velo but never regular snus. They literally taste like candy, power move from tobacco/nicotine industries to keep everyone hooked. They banned certain flavors in juul etc in California since huge amount of their customer are kids.

Doctor told me it is not possible to have pain in your lungs, but when I quit smoking, the pain also went away. You absolutely can have some sort of pain there. We have a similar product in Europe. Helped me go from 20 a day to zero in 6 weeks. Went from 20 a day to using 4 or 5 of these pouches a day to start with, gradually weaned myself down in strength to just using 2 a day and then finally quit the pouches altogether. If you want to quit smoking, you can. Lots of determination and support from friends and family and it achievable.

Did ZYN's while working on the flightline. Smoked/Vaped before. Decided to cut down and eventually quit. Even after being a smoker/ addictive personality, I can confidently say I haven't had any nicotine products in 9 months, with no cravings.

i've quit for a second time, but became absolutely reliant on these things for years. the withdrawel is worse than cigarrettes. extremely addicting, naseua and light headedness for days upon quitting

My husband just had to have a biopsy right from the spot he puts it. He’s been using these and the ones from Sweden for years. We are awaiting results. Hope he doesn’t need half his face removed. 😩

@@markelraya10 “deserve” is really made up. No one really deserves anything good or bad. It’s just life. He is a war hero and was an abused child who picked up some bad habits growing up. He stopped smoking when he found out I was pregnant. He has slowly stopped many bad habits. What do you “deserve” for making such an ugly inhuman comment? I hope forgiveness and happiness because you clearly have underlying pain in your life.

I use Stokes instead. They are nicotine toothpicks. Doesnt bother my gums and is way cheaper. Plus the ingredients seem better. Out of all the brands and products i have found for quitting smoking/vaping this has been the best. And the toothpick works for oral fixation.

Cool thing about the toothpicks is you can bite it for a bit and "take a break" then go back to absorbing nicotine. Also cleans your teeth..

Nicotine permanently hardens your veins and arteries. You will have an increased risk of developing blood clots, heart attacks, and you'll have varicose veins to look forward to. Not to mention your addiction will drain your bank account. I'm a week clean from Zyn now. First two days without it I was very irritable, but after that I'm good to go. My body and bank account are going to be doing much better.
