I was stopped doing 77 mph in a 55 mph zone while listening to this song. The officer was about my age, and when I explained, he wrote the ticket for 5 mph over the limit.🚨👍😊
"We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, TX. We, along with legions of ZZ Top fans around the world, will miss your steadfast presence, your good nature and enduring commitment to providing that monumental bottom to the ‘Top'. We will forever be connected to that "Blues Shuffle in C.” You will be missed greatly, amigo. Frank & Billy
the drummer is a phenomenon. he is unperturbed, completely detached from the stage and the public. do you see how he draws on his cigarette? 4:13 Greet musician 👍👍🇩🇿
You just cant beat the 60's 70's and early 80's ROCK N ROLL God Blessed us all back then with Music that really had Heart Poured into it !!!!!!!! Miss being a Sound Engineer from those day's it was a Memorable Experience Tour Bus Runs and Early Rise for Set-Up and Sound Checks and late to Bed with a Good Joint and the Echo of the Tour Bus Engine purring me to sleep !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can still close my Eye's and Hear It, and Feel It, I can still remember Cruisin Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Strip going up and down the Blvd. when I wasn't on Tour, I had the Top Down Jammin And Cruisin nothing else like it, The Good Ole Day's WHEN MUSIC WAS A WAY OF LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the best of all was being able to go on Tour Overseas and out of the USA, seeing other cultures of Life and There People so a Blessing to be able to reminisce on all of it is just knowing what I did I made a lot of People Happy !! and got to know them and can still call them My Friend's I still to this Day call some of them and write them God Bless all of Them and to many I can't R.I.P.

I've been listening to ZZ top since I still had hair !!! Not long ago...about 35 years. Today, my son plays La Grange on guitar. The guys do well. A motorcycle trip without ZZ Top is not a zzzzztoooop trip.

6:24 is the most rock'n'roll thing i've ever seen in my entire fuckin' life
Everybody’s human, forget that commenter, that was a killer set. I was just watching his left hand double stroke technique and thinking I want to learn some of his grooves. I’m always working on Billy’s guitar stuff, but thinking I’m missing some fun stuff back on the kit, and frank is one of the original pocket drummers! (Shit you gotta be, in a power trio at that level)
Along with Rush, Nirvana, and the Police to name a few. Those days were big for power trios. They kicked ass. There isn't anything like it today. They can never pull it off in a live setting, not like those guys.
Normally musicians get old, but these guys never will, only me got grey hair. Loved their music in my childhood, and now i am 40 now and still listen to them.
The three together smoke nearly everyone. Seen ZZ Seen Queen and seen Rush..... All f'n amazing..... ZZ is amazing an Quenn rocks.... to all just enjoy the talent and the entertainment I askin for much...... Cheers alll

It's all in one respect respect and everything everything everything to each other one to all this you are the greatest I love you I watch you as long as I live and after
Had the pleasure of seeing that little band from Texas four times...so far. Just recently in Oneonta N.Y. 9-25-18 They are awesome. Frank is a FREAKING MACHINE.
I am 76 years old and when I was in College in 1973 we had a Super Saturday and ZZ Top was the headliner with English guitarist Roy Gallagher as the opening act. These guys just get better with like whiskey and cigars!!!!
They do. Too bad Dusty Hill is not with us anymore. But Billy Gibbon is far from retrain. Here is the latest. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE---dK0CVB9YY.html
I've seen ZZ Top twice and I've been working and playing Drums and Guitar for a few decades and that is the thing about ZZ. They, for a Three Musician Band have attained from the start an incredible high intensity Shuffle-Slide with a killer Bassist that is, to me, a one of a kind Sound and Tone that is easy to listen to... for many decades now. Especially when I caught them Live. In Vancouver I saw ZZ live on the "Afterburner" tour. My ears rang for a couple of days.
I have had the pleasure of sitting at a concert and being very entertained by these three artists playing their instruments, I do not drink or smoke, But I sure know when someone can play an instrument
Not only does Frank Beard have stamina beyond any mere mortal to keep that left hand shuffle going with completely perfect feel, but he's literally doing it with his eyes closed
After years being behind the drums, closing your eyes isn't all that hard to do. You know where everything is, in front of you. And you play the songs as you have for years. Even so, the mark of a pro, is to hide a mistake and keep going without anyone else knowing it happened! Closing your eyes isn't so hard... How about a blind drummer!?
