For those wondering it appears that it was an improvement as he ended up drilling the hole for the sensor. Probably the intake air temp sensor I'm guessing?
Fredy Jones now supplies better bushings as well as lots of other parts . I’ve just purchased the left hand frame rail for my 2004 vrsca and bushings are included. Thanks for the video
Hey i wanting to know how you do the gas in these things. I just got one and its my first 2 stroke quad and its got a gas tank and oil tank. Do i just put regular gas in the gas tank and then put 2 stroke oil in the oil tank?
I don't understand why anybody would reuse the old cover gasket. I mean, how expensive can this gasket be ???? I would never go through all that work, and reuse an old gasket... Anyway, good video, Thankyou, now, I need to do mine...
I have a 2005 version and just cannot figure out what is wrong with it as when I try the kickstarter, the engine does not start. I have replaced the carburetor and the battery and neither have helped. I was wondering if you had any insight.
Mine just started doing the same thing. But has been sitting for two years. Don't have the time to mess with it right now but will eventually. I'll post if I figure it out. Obviously make sure the switch on the handlebars is on, key is on and you have gas. Sometimes we forget the little things lol. Good luck 👍
Thanks voor the help, Peter! I've tried the procedure today, so let's see whether it keeps just as dry as it should. Btw, I've only added the O-rings, didn't use the black stuff, let's see what it leads to
Thanks for the video but I’m kind of screwed… in the process of doing the work, my wire marks rubbed off. Is there a way to know where they go in the connector based on how they lay next to one another? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I've removed the top,have k&n,and tuner, and right off the bat I could hear the difference, at about 45 50 mph you can hear the air being sucked in on blips of throttle, it's almost annoying...I am going to just mess with the inlet, make it less restrictive.
Same here I did this as well sounds like poo I might need to mod top cover for more air I think stock cover is to baffle the sound not to make a ram air intake

Why they used brass I'll never know. Use the Chevy Truck bushing kit 38400. bronze/steel. lasts much longer. You should only have to slightly drill out center of new bushing and its way cheaper...
Yeah, I got Lazy & got ROBBED by a Shop to do this. And I still see a Leak. So guess who's going back... *Sidebar, Can anyone provide the Part # for that K&N Oil filter?
