I’ve recently been learning underwater photography & taking some videos here & there & was wondering why I’m not seeing the water so rich in color on the camera so when I came across your videos I was like thank god!! 😹 love your videos!!
I really appreciate this video, you prevented me from buying a more expensive camera than I needed haha. This is all in preparation for my diving in Ningaloo next April lol
Free Preset link doesn't work - just links to paid (very expensive) collection. If I can't test with the free one I'm unlikely to purchase the collection.
Just some tips, you talk to much about non important stuff and it makes people lose attention quick (mark 3 or 4 idk, motor in quarantaine etc.) Also its a bit to slow. People want to see quick tutorials.

Hello, since you said that you studied biomedical sciences I have a question for you. I applied for biomedical sciences but realised that I actually wanna study Marine biology. The universities I got offers are King's college london, Edinburgh, Manchester and York. Non of these directly have marine biology. So would you suggest me to do exactly what you did (choose marine focused lectures in 3rd year), Try to transfer the second year or take a gap year and apply specifically for marine next year? and also do you have any suggestions about which school should I pick. I would be so happy if you answer. Thank you so much:))
This upload reached me. It is truly heart breaking how not only is life being affected by humans but how most of us are living almost by accident. Working their 9-5. Dumping their trash in a garbage bin- which probably falls out of a dumpster truck at some point and nothing is done to help it. It is sad how these types of people avoid shopping sustainably and even leave trash on the side of our beaches: on our Mother Earth, who houses not only us, but other living organisms as well. Not only us. I truly wish people could just digest that phrase for a second. People are so fixated on searching for something to fill themselves up (numb themselves). The solution is not to plug the empty hole inside of you. the solution is you . People don’t have to have a higher consciousness or indulge in personal development to avoid littering but at this point, there needs to be some sort of personal work in order to achieve people to be mindful of not only the humans around them, but the other forms of life around them too. It’s so easy to live by accident, get a 9-5, and forget other beings exist other than ourselves.
thank you so much for posting about this. im 14 and my dream is to be a marine biologist and specialise in sharks they are my absolute passion, question: what is your favourite shark, and which is your favourite that you have swam with?
Hello! I am currently an in-between jobs marine biologist and you featured me on Women in Ocean Science! A) Thank you for the feature!! I am SO honored and I love the community that you've created and B) thank you for sharing your story. I love hearing about everyone's journey, as I am trying to navigate my own right now due to COVID stunting the research market.
this video is absolutely stunning and informational for sure needs more people in the world to see it i hope this video gets a million views cause it is needed and beautiful
Thank you for sharing this...I feel so helpless when it comes to this. I’ve seen dull waters and corals in Bali too....it’s heartbreaking. I’m a professional theatre performer, and my other love is the ocean. Both loves of mine are dying, and I understand how you feel. Feeling helpless when there is so much life and love to restore on this planet (our freaking home) and to be enjoyed it’s hard to fathom. It’s stressful being around some people, who don’t want to learn, make changes or have such little care for the planet, I can’t help but blame the system. But your video is so honest, open about how fucked up shit is and heart felt, that I have hope. The fact that you are out there, and are also so moved by your work and by coral, this gives me hope. Thank you for this....such a stunning and important video x Namaste x
Wow this really just came up on my ‘for you’ page! Lol, I literally just started following Women in Ocean Science a few days ago on Instagram & Facebook😊 I just graduated with my Bachelors in Biology and im really considering doing a Masters as well! This video was awesome & so informative, you go girl!
Love the chat-style video :) Always nice to "sit down" with a fellow ocean scientist. You briefly mentioned your businesses in a response. I would LOVE to hear more about both of them in a future video! Your apparel line looks amazing! PLUG yourself :)
Thank you for sharing your tips! Underwater images are a league of their own and after years of editing, I'm still learning too! I would love to see a similar tutorial video on editing your underwater videos as well. You have some incredible clips on your instagram!
This is such an emotionally charged video! As a fellow marine biologist and ocean conservationist, I really FELT this video. Oftentimes in environmental sciences, the drive to be an objective scientist can lead to a disassociation from your own emotions. But in reality, this field is becoming increasingly gut-wrenching. "Environmental scientists should be allowed to cry." Well done!
I was in tears for the whole video :'( Thank you for the opportunity of informing us of the situation. Hoping to work for the same cause soon. :) *crossed fingers
