@@DenverBronx12 If code calls for 11 inches Then when a lawsuit case comes And your 11 1/4' your at fault And that gap you see is over hang "Your honor i fell going up the steps my toe got caught on the lip of the stairs ...Oh its 1 inch lower to the ground than before
I bought 2 packs and had them installed one for front door one for back but the keys that came work for all doors is this normal I noticed they smart key tool is not even open so they didn’t reset any of the other keys to make them work
Just discovered your channel and finding your videos very useful. Interesting to hear you've used water-resistant laminate in your own home instead of LVP. I've been considering the same as i'm starting to see more videos pop up of issues with LVP that cannot be blamed on installation. The product in this video is an interesting alternative. Personally I perfer thicker 12mm laminate so will probably go with a water-resistant version of that (while we still can 😂)
I meant that all of the steps had to be reinstalled for the entire staircase. The LVT had to be replaced on all of it with new stairnosese. I did not mean that the subfloor structure had to be replaced. Sorry for the confusion everyone!
Such a helpful and easy-to-follow guide! Your step-by-step instructions make changing a ceiling light seem so simple, even for beginners. Thanks for making DIY projects so approachable!
Your instructions were spot on! It appears Smart Key Tool can be inserted without respect to a particular side? I too decided not to mess with door frame replacement plates, since old one's were still in great shape and I did not want to chisel out frame in case future lock sets are back to standard shape. Thanks for the instructional help to others!
Consider this a consumer warning. Mohawk carpet warranty is meaningless. If you have windows in your house, the sunlight voids the warranty. Yes even in the Pacific Northwest where sunlight is elusive, it can fade your new carpet in less than a few years. The company claims the 20+ year fade resistance doesn't cover any sunlight.
please I have a question regarding the stringers. my installers used glue down vinyl plank on the stringers then capped it with a metal capping on the corner seams. It looks so tacky. Is it not possible to cut the nosing be lengthwise and run it down the stringer? It would look so much better than a metal cap that does not even match in any way what so ever the plank. Also, they used a silicone on the steps at the side seams... would this not have a deteriate effect over time just as it does around the toilet and sinks?
Oooo okay, this seems really simple actually!! Definitely made me feel like I could do it myself. I like my ceiling fan but it's making some.... funky noises... so its nice to know just in case. Also when you also said you could pay someone under a 100 to do this I'm like that sounds super tempting too 😅
LVP is LVT. LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) was the original term and LVP has since become more popular for referring specifically to the longer plank format products. I hope that clears up the confusion from my word choice throughout the video. Thanks for watching!
No, this is not a shower material. It could be used on a bathroom floor. For a shower floor, wood look tiles can be an option as there are some options available in small mosaic formats that will slope to your drain more easily than larger format tiles.
@@RemodelWithRobert Thank you for the quick reply! I was trying to do a contiguous flooring in my shower/wet room area to the sinks. I guess it won't work. Thanks again!
