Wowee, that was a shocking amount of blood! I'm doubly shocked that there was somehow so much yet so little at the same time 😂 that truly is a huge tooth! What a strange shape, too!! Edit: What did you guys do after the removal of the tooth? In videos like these, I usually see the open orifice get washed out with water and then either have something packed down into the hole or skin sewn over top of it. Did you just leave it open afterwards, to come together and heal on its own?
That was absolutely fascinating. I loved that you explained everything as you went; very informative. And the fact that you treated that filly with such compassion and care shows what a wonderful doctor you are.
Great tedious work!👏🏼👏🏼 I need you as my dentist…..btw I am not a horse, just identify as one!😉 Just kidding😂 I am always fascinated by your work Sir…..Blessing send to you and your equine patients🙏🏼🍀👋🏼🇨🇦
Equine dentistry is absolutely fascinating. I’ve learned a lot since I’ve been watching your channel, and I’m quicker to spot dental problems with my own horses, so thank you for that.
So a cavity and a filling. I wondered if horses had similar tooth issues to humans. Wondering why the horse’s teeth are the way the are? Why a ribbon like form? I’m just curious. Have nothing to do with horses their teeth are just interesting.
I am so happy to see you doing these videos and informing people about how to treat these issues. I just wish I had found this sooner. My 1D barrel horse had a fractured tooth and went through 9 surgeries and 39 hours of pure hell. The first dentist messed her up so bad I can't even talk about it. The second dentist finished the job and has since had to remove two other up molars from the damaged caused by first dentist. This has ruined this mare and makes me sick. Please keep doing what you are doing.
