Hi, Arabic Learners! Welcome to Arabic with Manar. I'm Manar, and I'm a native speaker of Syrian Arabic. I'm also trained in Modern Standard Arabic and "fusha", the classical Arabic that is at the base of all modern Arabic forms and dialects. I'm a professional interpreter and translator between Arabic, English and Greek, and I also teach Arabic to non-native speakers.
Do you want to learn Arabic in an easy, fun way? Then you're in the right place! From beginner to intermediate, you'll find dozens of free lessons here on my RU-vid channel. And I post new material all the time, so there's always something new for you.

Hello!! Thank you for the video! I think I’ve heard few time something like ‘yisallemon’ but can not find anything about it, have you heard of it? I think it’s from Damascus:) thank you!
Many English speakers do not pronounce their aitch “h” as a “ھ”, but as a “ح”. This is even more obvious with the German “h”. I think that in fact they pronounce indifferently one or the other to say aitch, so the comparison with English is perhaps not very useful.
I am from Antakya, Turkey and I have a lot of friends which are from the coast which are speaking the same dialect. I started to learn by your videos so I can talk to them in Arabic too. There are a lot of Levantine Arabic speakers here in our Province Hatay ! Thank you for your helpful videos!
Haha, I get what you mean! 😄 It can be tough to understand anyone speaking with their mouth full, let alone in a different language! But hey, it's all part of the fun of learning Levantine Arabic, right? Think of it as an extra challenge level! Don't worry, the subtitles have got your back. Keep at it, and soon you'll be decoding all sorts of mumbles! 🥳
Salamat 👋🏼 Backgammon has different names for the numbers. As far as I know, it is Persian and similar to Kurdish numbers. He is trying to teach her the numbers used in this game
