Hi! The videos on your channel were very helpful to me as well as taking the course with AAPC and I took my exam today and I PASSED! Thank you and keep making these vids ✮✮✮✮✮
I just started watching your video I'm understanding way better before i start my courses this semester for the medical billing & coding hopefully everything prepares me
I fortunately got hired for a Risk Adjustment Coding post and they told me to re-review the ICD 10-CM guidelines. I am so blessed to meet AMCI team especially Miss J. here on you tube. You really have the best medical coding guidelines video. You guys are incomparable!!!
I wish my coding school was like this. They literally only have AI voicing over their lessons and their lessons just feel like a huge info dump without the necessary scaffolding to help support beginners in this field. Thank you so much for these videos.
There is also a list of z codes for long term use of drugs in Appendix A in the AAPC ICD-10-CM book. It had both Lantus and Trulicity and showed that lantus was insulin and trulicity was an injectable non insulin drug. Thank you so much for your videos 😊
This is an awesome place to learn. A+. But, please investigate the job market and understand it thoroughly prior to committing to any place that offers certifications. If you’re already established and are looking for credentials for your current job then you are golden! At least until AI catches up and becomes proficient. Right now it’s still learning from the coders who are forced to work with it.
Thank you for the positive feedback. We're proud of our comprehensive job/career resource program. Employers have shared with us that many new coders struggle to find jobs because they can't pass pre-employment exams. This often stems from focusing solely on passing multiple-choice certification exams rather than developing comprehensive coding skills. At AMCI, we emphasize thorough, practical coding knowledge. We regularly post entry-level coding positions on LinkedIn, and our students have been so successful in securing employment independently that we've discontinued our partnership recruitment program with large medical coding companies. Our graduates are consistently finding jobs in the field. Those who struggle may need to further develop their coding expertise. The key takeaway is this: don't just prepare for exams - learn to code proficiently. With the right skills and knowledge, you'll be well-positioned for success in the medical coding field.
