Great discussion on how AI impacts medical coding. Auditors make the good money in the field so I was headed in that direction. I wonder if the pay will change once the other areas are eliminated by AI
My EDUCATED guess is: Those who have mastery of facility and outpatient guidelines will be qualified to be the auditors of AI. Not so much Auditing training. Whatever that is worth.
