Even if you keep up the pace shown in this video and never have to restock, never have to leave the arena, never have to dupe more summon items, nothing like that -- you're spending *ten solid hours* just fighting the Broodmother. That's absolute insanity. I can't believe they thought this was acceptable grind.
What I so is use the widow dagger. Widow or brood armor. The poison damage is so much they just melt with one hit, and take venom damage if they hit you. Also I found out today fleas you can eat raw and not take damage from, even gives you thirst. Still better to roast if possible, and tadpoles are better when made into jerky to craft the pudding that gives you veteran diver. With the bubble helm, this gives you 4x as much oxygen. The pudding reduces oxygen used 70%. You could use raw tadpole and raw flea to make liquid gills to do this also, but not worth it in my opinion. Combined with mer-teen mutation and you can stay in water as long as you want.
This was back when you weren't guaranteed an acorn top with every acorn you break. Somehow someone did it and it spread like wildfire through the community. Unfortunately someone snitched to the devs and they patched it.

are you supposed to beat the game like normal then get new game plus or are you supposed to do something before that? I played a lot when the game first came out so now im super lost on whats new lol also super underrated you really deserve more subscribers!👍
Yeah, you have to beat 3 optional bosses and final defense before you can go to new game plus. There is a door north of the pond (not in the upper yard) that you can only open after you finish those tasks.
