Players: ng+ is so unbalanced and requires tons of grinding Grounded devs: okay we will remove the infused weapons and trinket duplication feature that make the effects change
@@purplemicrodot58 yeah that patch note not only specified infused weapons (not trinkets) but the fact that its in the bug fixes section is a slap in the face
Huh. Welp. Guess I know what I'm gonna be hunting around for when it comes to the cone trinkets. Lifesteal + Damage Resist + either Finale Fury, Finale Stamina Surge, Mad Scientist, Arcane Archer, Starcrusher, Samurai, Loot Luck, or Minor Threat would probably be ideal in my case.
If you're using the right elemental weapons for the right enemies, starcrusher and arcane archer aren't especially useful - they only reduce elemental resistances if the enemy has a resistance.
@@Only1Anomaly Still is useful regardless. Making them less resistant to those damage types can still be beneficial in a fight. Plus, I'm also one of the few people I know that actually uses Bows in Grounded, and given that the Salt Morning Star is one of the only 1 handed clubs in the entire game, and one of the only weapons with natural Salty damage, I kinda have to utilize it at least somewhat. Besides, most of the elemental damage weapons are 2 handed weapons, which conflicts with me needing to run a shield just to be able to block a good amount of attacks. There's quite a few attacks in Grounded that can't be blocked or parried without a shield. Sure I'm dealing 20% less damage with the shield up, but given that a lot of the weapons I use deal low damage anyway, -20% damage doesn't affect me as much as it would compared to having that sort of downside on a stronger immediate damaging weapon.
@@Only1Anomaly Yeah that's not as easy as you'd think it'd be for me. I've always struggled using weapons that weren't 1 handed, and/or didn't have range. I always view the 2 handed weapons to be entirely too slow to be viable for me. Attack speed, defense, max health, and lifesteal/healing matters more than damage does. So really, anything that isn't either a 1 handed dagger, a spear, or certain specific 1 handed swords is too slow for me. Even the 2 handed axes with Finale Fury and the Scythe of the Blossoms with Apex Predator still feel too slow for me compared to what I normally use.
Yeah. I just refused the update. Disconnected my wifi. Sure the damage reduction would be nice but i finally got a cone in ng+ and its effects are trash. So im gonna reroll till i get what i want or get bored. Also i hear they removed the ability to farm a mixr for science. Not sure though
Found an arcane archer crit damage max acid damage best. Trust me it makes bow build very viable killed the wasp queen in NG2 in like 6 shots with acid arrows.
Some of these Ng+ bosses take a really really long time to beat, and it may take upwards of 200 bosses to get the perfect trinket. So allowing more ways to grind helps it not be so painful, as well as more fun. Grinding is good for longevity but if it takes away from the enjoyment of said game then it's a bad idea.
The fact the removed rerolls on dupping is absolute garbage ...who the heck wants to farm bosses hundreds of times to may b, hopefully get the roll you want..if thats the case get rid of all the garbage effects that nobody wants.....no shot im grinding that much for a good roll on the items i want
Good luck getting good rolls on your science cone everyone because they officially ruined it for everyone it used to be an enjoyable grind now it's going to be a pain and you're going to have to spend probably weeks to months trying to get a good roll
