I work for a company I'm not going to say which one. We were recently sold. The new company immediately shut down and sold all manufacturing under union control.
It's not because of Google, search engines for the most part rank results based on the preference of people clicking on them, and as more and more dumb people have access to the internet, because it is cheaper and cheaper to access the internet, more and more dumb people are voting on what should be the top results.

All I ever used google was to find the test answers or Sparknotes for homework during highschool. After that I just moved to Edge Copilot. I just fuck with the UI. Nowadays I just use the internet for a quick tutorial. Or a quick answer.
Because the ignorant masses consume without question, Micro$oft turned around and bundled their browser in the OS anyway. They are still a monopoly. To break into the OS market, you have to make a platform so similar to Winfows that anyone can use it without significant training, then convince every corporation in America to install it. Microsoft is our infrastructure now. They paved the way for Google.
