Awesome heheh love this video! Here’s a little trick to fix Internet sharing and get it working If you want other devices on your network to use your internet connection, you can enable this through the WLAN properties settings. Here’s how to do it: Open the WLAN settings and go to the "Sharing" tab. Check the box that says "Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection." Select your home networking connection, for example, "Ethernet 3."(if this is ur Main where u get ur connection) Optional: Check the box "Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection" if you want them to be able to manage the connection. Click "OK" to save the settings.
Mine will just eventually go into AI mode after plugging in and start capturing wifi, but then I don't know how to get it to connect or boot again after, do I just unplug from, data, then back into data again?
Once i got my pluggin up and running i restarted to try and test if it worked or not but my battery continued to stay at zero, do you know how i can fix this?
Any differences with the Wavesharev4? I installed it exactly as shown here and the battery indicator seems to work on the web UI but I'm not getting the battery indicator on the screen :/ and I'm not sure why that is .
For virtual machines I never have. I just choose Windows 10 pro and don't use a key. Typically I'm testing the VM's and then they get destroyed shortly afterwards as I don't ever plan to activate them.
@14:08 jesus christ bro you were terrorizing your neighbors all night lmao do you even know how to use the thing you just made??? 5 months ago, hopefully by now you have learned the easy way and you are not in prison. i hate to be a debbie downer but you should take down this video.. im gonna subscribe just cause you seem cool and all you just gotta understand how to direct that type of "traffic" and realize those 262 stations you "kicked" were other peoples devices and you kicked them from their own wifi networks while capturing their handshakes to get specific bits of "data" and someone (not i) will report you. one of your neighbors is prob gonna see this one day and be like "hey wtf thats why we couldnt watch netflix all night that night 5 months ago billy hacked our shit" if you had a bigger following youd be in hot shit for this bro and if your not analyzing the data your capturing, you might not have even collected anything worthwhile and were just booting your neighbors all night for a youtube video xD
For the board I like this case myself - www.amazon.com/iUniker-Raspberry-Starter-Acrylic-Clear/dp/B075FLGWJL/ref=sr_1_4?crid=29QOZZSZZ6W1F&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8JnjnzHIZKbNBD9hWCqAHnHax7dUvVYj8kBbB0PuWNThBQIQvN56_1WYhufKX9vbvxNO77NDdj-ff63zySPpEwCOmH1YCKFxro81QqqHcdshAZVl7L7x00qSTEna-KVahFeMdFRqELZ-xgcSZ0LGO9J7J1XUDV3Igl-zxvWTgvl-eMhFcuTk_v_3QrG_RKbGPuPiCGEKSGpqx8f65g-kHrGPwQYAqNv7ixvEOwbv9pA.FHCNqgxg4f3Xhw5Saw9XVSo3RSvcF9Z-sD2jTmhNrdY&dib_tag=se&keywords=raspberry%2Bpi%2B2%2Bzero%2Bw%2Bcase&qid=1716842909&sprefix=raspberry%2Bpi%2B2%2Bzero%2Bw%2Bcase%2Caps%2C118&sr=8-4&th=1 If you're talking about a case for a Pwnagotchi then Etsy might be a better bet. I don't have any recommendations though I'd just read the sellers reviews.
Just came dropped by to say that this is still relevant and i strongly consider it the bible when setting up a gotchi and is one of 2 videos (both by you) when anyone ask me for set up advice. Thank you sir.
@@cybercatlabs ok I was ip all night doing this and the video for 4 months ago … getting pwnagotchi connected with internet sharing in windows 11 was a bastard!! Any thoughts on doing a video on custom faces ? I have a lot of footage, but just can seem to get it to show :)
VIDEO NOTES: I avoided advanced techniques for this tutorial on purpose. This video will help you get up and running in a short amount of time to start exploring more advanced features of your pwnagotchi. Yes, this works on both Apple Intel and Apple Silicon. I shot this video on a MacBook Pro M1 running the latest version of Sonoma and did testing on a MacBook Pro Early 2015 running the latest version MacOS Monterey. There are some slight variations on setting up the RNDIS/Ethernet Gadget but they are very close together in the process. Something I forgot to mention in the video is that the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W did not come with the headers installed. As I don't do any soldering I used the Vilros Hammer Install rig and headers. I've linked that tool and those headers in the description box above.
Will this work on a pi 3 i have a uctronics lcd display already on my pi 32 gb sd going to try anyway but still leaving a comment😅 if not anyone have a push in the right direction?
@cybercatlabs oh for sure I came close I think to getting it to work when I went to do the ethernet it showed up and now it's disappeared after I installed tried changing the properties
Hands down the best Pwnagotchi tutorial out there! Thank you! I’m curious about cases though… I just busted my ribbon cable trying to fit my pwnagotchi into a case 😢 Have you found any perfect designs?
I appreciate the kind words. As for the cases I've only bought one case from Esty and a tab on it fell apart within 5 minutes making the backplate kind of useless. I haven't bought another one since then. I've thought about getting into 3D printing myself to try and refine what's already out there. But at this moment I don't really have any recommendations.
@@cybercatlabs got it, thanks for the quick response! I scaled up the compatible open sourced cases just a tiny bit and the fit is perfect. I’d love to send you a set of 3d printed pwnagotchi cases in exchange for your 10/10 guidance in this tutorial. Would be a fun video idea too from my end!
Very kind of you to offer but I don't really have a PO Box to receive items. Would be cool to see a video of cases getting made though if you decide to build some for yourself or someone else.
