I did this 4ish years ago to my wifes grandmothers walkway.. Had to raise a total of 3- 5x5 blocks. Havent budged, moved, or anything.. Now the other 9 stones need a little love.. But the ones i pumped the foam under.. solid.
This is amazing. Literally auch a creative invention. Like bro how am i supposed to run that fast with my dog 😭. Such a great way to give your dog exercise, and he/she clearly loves it ❤❤
@@zidane2175 thats why i like project farm for example. It’s actually putting some science in testing repair, diy, construction, and equipment. Not just hand me down advice contractors learned
Figure that’s why they’re mad, or they have sunken sidewalks to fix too but too lazy to do it “the right way” that they are talking about. I never told anyone this was the right way rather that I was just curious after seeing others with good >1 year results
F****** id**** he didnt help he touched the bar to guide him and can react faster if something happens is ur brain out of oxygen or why are u all so stupid as hell it should be forbidden to be this stupid and out of school.
Interesting method for sure but not one I'd use myself. Cheers on showing us all just how to get a perfect walk way look without a ton of work in order to shore up an eye sore/tripping hazard and thus make more attractive to potential buyers when selling property. I have my doubts on the longevity tho not being negative for negative sakes that was pretty intuitive for a solution.
I look at this and think fuck yea i could do that ,then i go to the comments and everyone is hating ,keep up the good work, this is coming from a concrete finisher
@@Jabel5105 I started with something similar when I was about that age. But didn’t start really lifting until I was 16. Do chest flyes with those dumbbells. It’s about the best exercise for pecs. And will be significantly harder than presses. Chest flyes on the floor is fine if u don’t have a bench. Look up my calisthenics playlist on my channel. I’d also start with that. Planche lean or pseudo planche push-ups are very hard. Chin up and front lever variations on a pull up bar etc Try to get protein with every meal. Slowly gain weight
There are apparently many ways to deal with concrete that has sunk. He chose this way and now it’s not a tripping hazard. Some people might have chosen a different way and some might have chosen this way but most people would just not do anything. I don’t own a house, so I can’t choose, but I wish I did.
@@DrTopLiftDPT “You don’t try hard enough” No, I just understand that pulling a PR is unsafe, and with no spotter seemingly watching you, the dude did what he thought was best. This isn’t a dick measuring contest buddy. Buddy was trying to make sure you weren’t one of the idiots willing to die for a PR.
@@hunterfry5426 that’s isn’t me. Look at ma tiddies? “Struggling that hard” that’s just normal grinding you should look like that most sets, or at least the final set of your workout. Since u think that’s “struggling that hard” and is abnormal to you it means you aren’t trying hard enough in the gym for gains. He had that rep it was still going up, hero didn’t need to touch the bar. Just hover around it. Nobody was dying there. Failed reps don’t equal dying. Just bring it down to your chest and roll it off or pop it off if u know what you’re doing. It’s possible to go for rep PRs without a spotter if you know what you’re doing. But I said it’s best to use safety bars in a power rack Ironic I’m called an idiot when it’s apparent you don’t know much about training in the gym.
@@DrTopLiftDPT Failed reps don’t equal dying, sure, but a failed rep can and do kill people. To say “that doesn’t happen” is a blatant lie, and numerous people are injured pulling a PR with no spotter. The lifter is younger, and I can’t fault the guy for jumping in, because as a person who has been in the gym most their life, I’ve seen people hurt doing this. It is a likely chance he’s seen that happen before and does not wish to see it happen again. I don’t lift to get big, I lift to stay fit. I also lift safely and also push those around me not to lift without spotters unless it’s a foolproof machine. No one wants to see someone get hurt while following their dreams/passion. Pain is gain, but to chastise this guy for simply trying to help in a situation he thought was going wrong, is not indicative of his character as a lifter. He didn’t “ruin a PR” if you can simply try again another day. He was just making sure this kid was going to make it to another day of lifting. Also, this isn’t even you (as you clarified) so why are you pressed about the “idiot” remark when it was a general statement about some lifters not thinking before lifting? It was not pointed towards you (even if that was you in the video), it was a generalized statement towards people who lift unsafely.
Why is everyone so pressed 😂 it’s his house, his DIY, if it doesn’t work, he learns from his mistakes and tbh it looks just fine… better than having a sunken slab 😂
@@josepacheco9479 I’m sure a lot of people have sunken slabs if they own a house. Makes em feel guilty. I was just curious to see if and how long it will work. The alternatives were so much more work and I have lots of projects to do
