I was here a while back asking for my brother. I heard that Minoxidil loses its effectiveness after 1-2 years. Was wondering if you’d be able to give your experience on this possibility.
Been on Minoxidil and saw palmetto supplements for 2 years, and on Finasteride (topical) for 6 months. I get more libido on Finasteride but it does give me one-sided breast pain, which is an early warning sign of gyno. I am having to keep trying to balance the amount of Finasteride I apply on my scalp, having to stop taking it every time I get some pain or sensitivity in my breast to prevent gyno from developing. All of this, and I am still losing hair, and generally I am still not happy with it. DHT-related hair loss is a f0ck!n4 curse, which has ruined my life in so many ways.
I’m 14 and my hairline is very receding I don’t know what to do. I try and tell by parents but they don’t seem to care. I’m scared I don’t want to loose more of my hair
I’m fighting for dear life lol been doing minoxidil for like 8 years, took a break last summer and instantly regretted. It really is a life sentence but you bet i’m finna lock in. Just started rosemary+mint oil too
bruh. just do a transplant on those temples. you worked hard and deserve it.. doesn't matter how much hair you got back where you have it when it looks like a peninsula / super nintendo controller.
Came here after watching your excellent 1M view video... How could you do this to your little brother? Is this a side effect of the minoxidil? That said, your hair looks great, totally worth it!
I want to fix a problem, not bandaid it, I want a permanant solution that resolves it without having to do it every day for the rest of my life, if not, time to go bald.
Very helpful. Minoxidil is definitely for life. Used it since my 20s and when I hit 60 I took a break from Minoxidil. In 3 months lost more hair than I had in 30 years.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. My hairline looks incredible. I was scared that it wouldn’t work for me being an African American, but my hairline looks just as good as it did 10 years ago. I used the recommended biotin, Keeps Shampoo & conditioner, and used the minoxidil. It’s been about 6 months. THIS GUY IS THE TRUTH!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
The dermatologist I went to told me that minoxidil only works if you've lost your hair for 2 to 3 years at the most, otherwise it won't grow back if it's been more than three years since you lost it. Is this true?
I lost my hair at 25 ...30 years ago, mates started calling me Bruce Willis....so i just shaved the lot off and never looked back ...my son is now 25 and going through the same thing....Breaks my heart to see how much its bothering him....back in my day we just shaved it off......you got a bit of stick for a few weeks then everyone gets used to it......well played to you for posting this and I hope it helps a few guys who are struggling....
8:30 as far as I remember, most people have good biotin levels and it's hard to lack it, so it usually doesnt give anything to supplement it, but can't prove it now
I got very bad sides from finasteride as well. Made sex feel like nothing and libido went to shit. Thankfully that stopped 2 weeks after halting finasteride.
I was losing hair every day and it was really stressing me out. My doctor recommended using a red light therapy panel from Future Form Official, a company in Norway. I started using it a few months ago and it’s already made a big difference. The panel is pretty affordable, which is great. I was unsure if it would work, but it’s definitely slowed down my hair loss and I’m seeing new baby hairs coming in. I use it regularly as instructed, and I’m hopeful that in the next month or two, I’ll see even more improvement. There are a lot of scientific papers supporting red light therapy for hair growth, so I’m really grateful for the advice shared here.
Hey mate! Pretty sure i used to go school with you in Shepshed years ago.😆 I live in Australia now. Spencer. Ring any bells? Im going bald too. Been using coffee and argon oil and a dermaroller for 3 months now and seeing results. Might get on the minoxydil.
Great video. Couple questions.. 1. Do the minixoride droplets leave your hair greasy/oily? 2. Do u use the droplets and styling products at the same time? 3 Have you tried supplements like nutrafol or hair la vie?
I’m 52. Been bald for 20 years. I created my own hair regrowth product from 100% natural organic ingredients. I have been using it on myself now for 2 months and my hair is growing for the first time in 20 years. I’m thinking of selling it online but I just started so I need to see how many people would be interested in using my product. I’m using it on myself so I know it’s working.
Not all about testosterone Or even mostly. Look into parathyroid and hair loss Especially if you had any teeth issues; Look into candida dandruff And lymphatic system detoxing acids thru skin. Or you'll be using pharms the rest of ya life
it's sad you used to not care and were swayed into caring by products. you don't need to worry about this! you are beautiful regardless. but I respect your choice also.
I mean, you can't actually regrow hair follicles that have died. BUT, it is possible to strengthen and prevent further hair loss. Although reversing hair loss isn't possible - unless it's a transplant
