Am a call of duty player first time trying this out and I think it’s helped a bit it was so complicated first time trying this game seeing 162 people in one lobby
EA fucks up everything. They could care less about making a good product that works before launch they have continuously for well over a decade now released glitchy games that dont work properly at launch. Call me synical but dont hold your breath the next release will be without issues either.
If im in the open like you i get shot by some sniper or when i kill one another kills me 😅 i just don’t understand the flow of this game. Sometimes i get shot because i just don’t see the opponent clearly …
08:05 I don't really care for the rate of fire; the gun wastes a whole second aiming and beeping like a smoke detector, proceeeds to fire three shots, stops shooting, and waits another second to start shooting again. No rate of fire can fix the unexplicable delays. Also 30M MAXIMUM range if you're not standing on top of it.
Watching this makes me really appreciate the simplicity of the old battlefield. This game is just a big mess, even looking at the menus it just looks like every other game out there with its micro transactions, in game currency and all that other bs. Battlefield has lost its soul
Thank you for taking the time to make this. When you brought up Jordy, your words really resonated with me because I thought the same way once I found out he passed. He was also my age, and I think that just hit harder for me and made me rethink my degrading passion for BF. Although I didn't have a connection with him as you did, I understood the love he once had for the franchise... As much as I loved playing battlefield in the past, that feeling is gone because of the studio's words and unforgiving treatment towards BF veterans. Life is too short to be miserable playing something that was once great. Thanks Cat
Thank you for your dedication to this video. I played BF2042 at launch, but I only managed to clock in 150 hours since then, by far the lowest of any BF games I’ve played. A couple of days ago, I installed the game again after not playing it for almost a year, and I immediately became frustrated with the maps and how they play, especially in modes like Breakthrough. What was once one of the best additions in franchise history, introduced in BF1, has somehow progressively gotten worse in Breakthrough. Usually, BF maps are designed with specific game modes in mind (which is why playing Breakthrough in BF1 felt great), but it seems the only guideline for BF2042 map design was accommodating 128 players. Even after reworks, the maps still feel big and open. In Breakthrough, almost all of the matches I played ended with the attacking side storming through points. Once they enter the point, it's almost impossible to cap it back due to most of the maps being open and the spawn points being atrocious. In Breakthrough, you usually can expect from which side enemies will come (when you defend)-from the front or the sides. However, in BF2042, due to the maps being so open, enemies can just come from behind, surround you, and kill you on the point; after that, it's game over. What's tragic is that BF2042 is the game that would benefit from fortification building the most-it's a shame they scrapped that mechanic. Long story short, the maps of BF2042 were made just for marketing purposes and nothing else. I HOPE they learned their lesson and will go back to focusing on well-designed maps with better destruction, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel with each installment.
I wholeheartedly disagree with your take with specialists. They should NEVER have been introduced nor should they ever be introduced back into the battlefield franchise. I want BATTLEFIELD not a hero shooter with horrific cosmetics.
Two years later, Casper in Breakthrough as a frontline operator is still broken and incredible. I have won so many games of Breakthrough as Casper because I’m able to spot everyone on the enemy team, and basically not allow any defenders to rat and not allow any attackers to flank without my team knowing. He’s still imo the god operator on Breakthrough
As I listed through he entire video I wanna say I am sorry about your friend. I have said it twice already but you did a great job on this in-depth review. Perhaps in the future you can come back as a game reviewer as I would really like to see you tackle space further. And hey maybe the next BF will be great. Like you, I have been a BF fan for a long time. Actually my first play was BF1942 but BF2 on PC was when I really fell in love with the franchise. In any case, best of luck, hope to see more content from you sometime in the future
I think the reason portal is so weak is more due to people like you. You have a voice and if you wanted it to grow you should have been active in bringing it up non-stop from the start. Its more the responsibility of content creators like you who have a voice to the community. Still great review overall
Honestly. I can understand. Why people would think your cheating. Your aim look exactly like the use of aimzenix, REWASD, Cronus zen etc. I'm not a acusing. It's a compliment to your aim
So i picked up 2042 on summer sale in 2024. Watching this is like listening to my own complaints come out of someone else's mouth. At least I got it for 25 bucks. I played 1942, BF:Vietam, BF:2 (and dlc's), 2142 (loved drop pods), bf:3, BC, BC2, BF4, BF:HL ew, BF:1 ew ew, BF:V ew ew, and now 2042. I have at least 8000 hours over 20+ years of being a BF fan. In BF:2 I found my first "Clan" *S* to ATF and SAC. We all chipped in and hosted multiple 64 player conquest servers over the years. We had BBQs that people flew in to from across the country and Canada. We actually made REAL LIFE friends in the game that we still talk to with today (none of them play 2042). 2042 shits on everything that made the franchise great it feels like. Unless something drastically changes it will be my last EA/Dice Title. I regret preordering hardline, less than 10 hours there, I regret pre-ordering BF1, played less than 100 hours there, I regret buying BFV premium. Never pre-order, never premium, probably never battlefield. If I wanted the Call of Duty experience, I would have bought COD. Give us back community servers, platoons, a browser, and classes. It was a working product that the good idea fairy came along and shit all over. If they want to make a warzone competitor? Cool. Make one. Separate from Battlefield, don't screw over the BF franchise fanbase doing it.
At the end. Sorry to hear about your friend passing. There have been a couple of those clan members that's happened to over the years. Cancer. Car wrecks. Heart attacks. Glad you've chosen a new direction in life if the current path wasn't fulfilling for you. Good luck out there.
Battlefield 1 is ten times worse. Main reason I could never get into these games is because they’re just so boring. Feels like a cross country game. Game suited for campers and players that spawn kill. Reminds me of how battlefront 2 was on that end. Can just corner the opposition in some maps
I bought it this sale for 6 and it just janky yeah the maps are bad and the gunplay just doesnt feel good. I refunded it its not even worth that. I guess ill stick to BF4. Oh and having my hotas plugged makes me spin...
I think people forget it’s so much better playing as a team might not think it’s making a difference but with time your team will over power the enemy Miss bf3-bf4 team play
