I don't think they will ever end the hatred. You can take the kids together when they're younger and try and teach them to get along, but as long as they're listening to it at home from family and friends outside, it's gonna be drilled into them that it's normal. And the cycle will continue

They also failed to present the facts in a proper generational context. Can't blame the BBC too much as that would require more air time and more experienced presenters.
