Classic AA treatment is to substitute sugar for alcohol. My take on knowing several folks in AA was that the addiction was not being addressed. Research is proving me correct. if the alcohol didn’t destroy their liver, then the sugar would do the job.

Fruit we buy in super markets have less sugar than fruit ripened on the tree. They are Picked green so they can be transported. I believe fruit that was eaten hundreds of times of years ago were sweeter!
I'm confused by his conflicting information. He says his favorite fast is 72 hour water fast, but then in another lecture he explained 3 days was a waste of time, because you're ending the fast right when you get the most benefits. He was very clear about this, and said a 7 day fast was the best.

We Asians are used to eating high carb diats for generations. We have being eating high carb diates from childhood. So my question is can we eat more carbs? Why we find more diabetes patients in younger generation than among older generation? Is that some thing to do with stress or modern life style or may be few other factors? I might get hate for this but it needs to said. Eating "disorders" is a poor excuse to complain about being obese. Fasting is the most safe and amazing way to heal the body while one can also reduce weight. The bigger and more sister issue here is how being obese has been allowed to be a normal thing nowadays. Nobody has "fat phobia", we just know you can do better for yourself. This fat acceptance culture will put far more people in a grave if we continue to not call obesity out.
