Hi my name is Wally , I'm from Melbourne, Australia & welcome to my woodworking channel .
I have a full time job in manufacturing & in my spare time I enjoy making projects; some small, some big.
Although my channel is mostly about woodworking , I also have a passion for landscape gardening , occasionally I may do a review/unboxing of related equipment ie... (woodworking tools)...( landscape/ gardening tools / sheds ...etc ).
I've been using both hand/power tools for over 35 years , I'm not a professional woodworker , but rather an enthusiast , with a real passion to learn/share my ideas & inspire others.
Que projeto mais lindo vou tentar fazer um desse vc poderia passar as dimensão apenas da madeiras que utilizou para a porta deslizantes vi que fez 12 pequenas madeiras poderia passar a dimensao de apenas uma obrigado!
What a fantastic looking chair, i must be honest though wally when you free handed that tapered cut i felt sick and my arse puckered 🤣🤣😂 please make a tapering jig
Hi Wally. Great video and project. The cup/wineglass holder is fantastic. Please make a cheese and craker holder for the other armrest. Love the design. James One Handed Maker
Thanks James ... Good idea that ! (cheese-cracker holder)..... although the idea of making an ottoman to compliment the chair did cross my mind ! ....... any new builds coming up on your end ? Regards Wally .
You can buy a loop and hook conversion kit for the disc these days, which allows you to use different sandpapers at will. Surely there's a marketing advantage to supplying them at the POS.
Where I come from we call the “bow tie” a “Dutchmen”. The 5 Dutchman was a great decision. They really classed it up nicely by showing the skill of the craftsman! Well done!
impeccable craftsmanship. My only thought is the strength that the arms will provide in the inclined position. The rest of the bench could hold a tank. Overall......5 stars.
Thanks Rod , during lockdown I made / sold (4) additional incline benches .... from the feedback to this day they are all 100% functional , I added (2) additional blocks for the rear incline's as seen at the end of the video ...... the thought of adding a metal plate along the wooden arms may be on the cards for future build ... cheers Rod .
I just got my Dewalt planer this past weekend, so now I need a table for it, I’ve been watching videos on the subject for a couple of weeks now, I honestly have to give you credit for the best breakdown video, of step by step action to make this table. Excellent work. Now only to get you to go to IMPERIAL MEASUREMENTS, come join the dark side, leave the metric world behind!! ( you do kinda look like Obi-Wan)
Thanks so much ! that video contained well over 3hrs of video footage which took me an entire week to edit down to 23 minutes ! ................. Ahh yes come to the Dark Side did you say - where we have Cookies ! Mmmm who doesn't love Cookies !
Since you're screwing the runners on anyway - use double-sided tape instead of glue. Much quicker and gives the possibility of changing the runners if needed...
@@wallytrinc9885 yeah sure, first the yellow cover for the saw was crooked and floppy, the fence is not in 90 degrees with the table (this is not possible to adjust) the table top is not dead flat and when I fix the blade to be 90 degrees on the left side it is not 90 on the square on the right side… I’m a bit disappointed coz its not a cheap saw and I was expecting it to be solid. Anyway enjoy yours and always be careful 🙂
@@leonardokalinci9894 There are many issues you have found ! if you still have your purchase receipt is it still possible for exchange/refund ? .... Regards Wally
@@wallytrinc9885 I bought it 3 years ago and it has been sent it many time to be repaired but every time I discovered new flaw. I think I just got unlucky with mine( sometimes I wish I bought a different company) Best regards 👍🏼
Great for home garage use , the drawers are awesome and smooth ! , would recommend you have it beside a wall to stop slight movement , they're more expensive now , I'm happy with mine , cheers mate .
Just recently came across your video and really liked it. I am planing on building a couple chess boards for two of my grandsons and would like to know if you have any plans available for your chess board design.
G'day Mr Lewis , unfortunately I don't have (plans) ...I'm very hands on with my projects & tend to wing it as I go along....I get asked this (plans) quite a bit , so maybe I need to start doing so . Regards Wally
Thanks. so much Madam Dorothy , unfortunately I don't. , several of my projects have had numerous requests. ie ( blueprints-plans etc )..... I'm confident in making projects, ( But) like a fish out of water creating blueprints/plans.... I need to make an effort/learn how !!
