I just started skating again after a 28 year break, it doesn't help that I was never a great skater to begin with. Add my age and weight, now I have a challenge ahead of me!! I am trying to video as much of my progress as possible, though it's only been 3 weeks now!

I use the knuckle of my pinky toe to heelflip. I learned them before kickflips and i think the reason i find them to be easier is because it feels more comfortable to kick my front leg out in front of my body rather than behind it for kickflips, which i still don’t understand how to perform😂
Personal heelflips are easier to me. U don’t have the extra flick motions of the toe like kickflips but its the same leg motion. They are sketchy tho in the sense that the boards is flipping between ur legs
