Hello there! My name is Brandon McGuire & I started this channel because I want people to have the relationship with God that I now enjoy. If that sounds wild or ridiculous to you then you are just the kind of person I'd love to connect with. I genuinely think that we've all faced doubt (or even anger towards God that we have insisted is unbelief) at one level or another.
But here's my story: Jesus has answered my questions, healed my wounds, calmed my storms, saved my soul, and changed absolutely everything for me. I want to help people to know Him too… so that He can do the same for them.
So, I'm interacting with content from across the internet and engaging in conversations that I think are important, from a Jesus perspective.
Skeptics and seekers are welcome. Conversations are Good. Questions are Good.
No Hate. Just Love.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.
Enjoy!

Use common sense and you will realize we are not the only ones in the universe whether it’s advanced aliens or an evil god. The clues around are everywhere y’all just don’t know what you are looking for. The order and design is enough for me on top of scientists believing nothingness randomly turned into matter and exploded resulting in us… there position has 0 rationality to it
Michael Jordan himself never said he is the greatest basketball player, but we know by his actions that he is. That's a really stupid argument made by Ehemann. I don't go around my work and say to everyone i'm the best you have in this office, they know i'm the best.
HELL NO! HEAVEN YES! Personally, have never like this guy. I am so glad you are coming to christ. I hope it is authentic and that you are not being used to pervert the word my friend. We will know by the fruits, not yours... but his. : )
One very simple analogy of the Trinity Ive seen is think of an egg. It has a shell, the white, the yolk yet it is one whole egg. As humans we cant fully comprehend the Trinity but simple things like this help me grab hold of a small understanding. Also we see in Genesis that all 3 persons were present working in concert as One.
“Reasons” being scientists don’t know everything therefore i know everything because ancient people wrote things in a book which is scientifically incoherent. So convincing 😂😂😂
I think this is great I know the Bible tells nothing but the truth. Everything in the Bible is right there for what you need nothing more nothing less. God is real Jesus died for our sins Jesus was God in human form I believe that I think I always believe that. I never I can remember and I'm 56 that there was a time in my life where I did not believe that God was real Jesus died for our sins it's probably because I was taught that way at a very early age. I love this guys thank you so much
This professor exemplifies one of the things that is wrong with American academia, they are very knowledgeable of the tiny speciality they work in, but have a very basic knowledge of other areas. There are historical objective truths. Science is an experimental endeavor and the objective truths it unveils are unveiled through the scientific method that is not the only way to find out objective truths. Historic events are objective truths (their interpretation could be subjective). We know the Holocaust happen because we have evidence. It is an objective truth. Her particular “spiritual” believes are subjective, only good for her and for her only, not an evidence that god exists. If she has so little imagination and will to seek explanations for the unknowns in the universe and the human mind, those are her shortcomings and not traits to admire.
Wikipedia: "Stephen C. Meyer is an American author and former educator. He is an advocate of intelligent design, a pseudoscientific creationist argument for the existence of God and helped found the Center for Science and Culture (CSC) of the Discovery Institute (DI),[3] which is the main organization behind the intelligent design movement. Before joining the DI, Meyer was a professor at Whitworth College. Whitworth University is a private, Christian university that is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and located in Spokane, Washington. Meyer is a senior fellow of the DI and director of the CSC." Stephen is not a scientist. He is a creationist with a Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy degree in history and the philosophy of science. His dissertation was entitled "Of Clues and Causes: A Methodological Interpretation of Origin-of-Life Research" in which he argued that a Hebrew god named Yahweh created everything.
I hate these kinds of discussions. Even if we could find evidence for what happened before the big bang, and it wasn't some god, that would still not disprove the possibility of a god. Believers would likely still believe and non-believers would not.
QURAN proves the Big Bang theory and explicitly states it. Including many other scientific discoveries that was only discovered in the past century. Quran was revealed 1400 years ago.
687 base pairs of DNA allow for 4.12 x 10^413 unique combinations. It takes 687 x 72 specific atoms to make a DNA sequence consisting of 687 base pairs. On planet Earth, there are only 10^50 atoms available to make DNA. It takes 72 atoms to make a single base pair of DNA. If all the atoms on planet EARTH were used for DNA, there could not be more than 1.39 x 10^48 base pairs of DNA. In the best case scenario for evolution, even if every single atom on planet earth were a unique sequence of DNA consisting of 687 base pairs, there could only exist 1 x 10^50 different sequences of this type.
Hebrews 1:5 tells us that Jesus was begotten by His Father. Did He beget Himself? 2. In Matthew 22:44, the Father said Jesus would sit at His right hand until His enemies were made His footstool. Was Jesus to sit at His own right hand? 3. In Matthew 24:36, when Jesus told His disciples that no one knows the day or hour of His return but the Father only, did He really know but made up an excuse to not tell them? 4. In John 14:28, Jesus said His Father was greater than He was. Does this mean He was greater than Himself? 5. In John 17:1, Jesus prayed to His Father. Was He praying to Himself? 6. In Matthew 27:46, Jesus cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" Had He forsaken Himself? 7. In John 20:17, Jesus said He would ascend to the Father after His resurrection. Did He ascend to Himself? These and many other biblical passages demonstrate to a rational Bible reader that the Trinity teaching is not only unbiblical, but also utterly illogical!
So the Father god made a plan for his children to fail & sin so god could send himself to die for sin, so god could forgive his children, so some of his children could join him in heaven, and praise him for eternity -Pure Mythology
Just stupid Christians! The main question is not whether they killed Christ at the cross or not but which god you are serving: • The creator of the universe which is called Elohim in Genesis 1 and Allah in the Quran, • the "father" Jahweh who is the highest of the angels (which are called "sons of Elohim" in Genesis 6, 4 and the creation of which by Elohim is told in Genesis 1, 26 ff.) who shows himself in Genesis 3, 22 that there are more persons like him ("one of us") and who declares himself to be god ("I am Jahweh your Elohim ... you should have no other Elohim before me" which is blasphemy) • or the human Jesus, the son of Jahweh, who ostensibly died at the cross for our sins (but more probably for the sins of the "father"). That is the question everybody has to answer and the answer will deside about life and death.
This highlights a discussion I had with a coworker who is an aspiring Muslim. He insisted that the God of the Bible and the God of Islam are the same. I responded that they weren’t, and this video perfectly explains why. Bc of the Muslim belief that through works you can earn salvation, it is not the same God who sent his Son (whom Islam teaches was a prophet and not Messiah) to live, teach, die and be resurrected for the sake of mankind. Such a God would have no need to make a third book that conflicts with the teachings of the others.
Material or immaterial doesnt matter if god is omnipotent, An omnipotent being could take the consciousness of all of humanity and fly it through the cosmos faster than the speed of light and then have us back in an instant. God could easily provide undeniable evidence to the modern world in the material plane but chooses not to.
God provides an abundance of evidence. However, since this infinite celestial being doesn't communicate with you using standard English you deny His existence? God's thoughts are not our thoughts. What we consider good, and what God knows is good is not always the same. He won't think like short lived, wet brain, imperfect humans would. That isn't to say he isn't consciousness, he is infine consciousness and he is good everyday. 🔥🙏😇
Because there is Being it had to come from something? Why? Begs the question. Whether there is something beyond the Cosmos or not is an antinomy of reason. Why in God’s name would people want to believe something that is not true? Mankind In Amnesia, Immanuel Velikovsky give us an answer that has yet to be falsified. That is science.
The real 'nail in the coffin" is that you are being deceitful and intellectually dishonest. How? By editing the clip as you have to not allow your audience to hear the atheist's response to Dr. Craig. It isn't the "mic drop" you have so dishonestly portrayed it to be. What does it say about you and your god when you obviously feel the need to lie and misrepresent the situation to make a point. I think you're a better used car salesman than you are an apologist. But then again, the basic definition of Christian apologetics is "lying for Jesus". You should have named your channel "Shifting the Goalposts for God".
"The very Creator of the Universe thinks I'm "special", he "loves me" and has promised me an eternal Afterlife for being an unquestioning, obedient drone" - Theists.
@@donthesitatebegin9283impressive. You almost got it right. Except the end part. Eternal life is promised for those who avoid sin and live righteous lives according to the morality given to us by Jesus, the Savior of mankind. 😇🙏🔥
Argument from etymology is for children. Language is functional, not prescriptive. Faith and confidence communicates different concepts, and only someone arguing in (hoho) bad faith says otherwise. Do you think december is actually the tenth month because you know what decem means?
You may have checked with historians but you could not have checked with Ancient historians simply because they are long gone ! Which ancient historian are you referring to , josephus ? Or is your source contempoary historians ! And their sources are borrowed from the claims made in these N T gospels which would be highly biased in favor of the claims of the jesus' narrative !
An omniscient mind, is, for all intents and purposes, infinitely more intelligent than mankind. Not by orders of magnitude, but by orders of infinite exponentiation. So how would mankind ever be able to even understand, or see, or discover the process or ideas of the omniscient mind's creation? We just don't have the intellectual prowess to complete such a task.
For one thing Catholicism isn’t Christianity, they believe in works. The Gospel is what saves and if she is offended at what God says about what she brought up that is okay but at least she would have got saved by the gospel. She would just be ashamed at the Lords coming rather than being cast into the lake of fire. She probably more than likely is reprobate now so getting saved has come and gone.
I don’t know, talk about a stretch…really? Coming up with a science fictional theorem (multiverse) that will allow you to avoid the obvious scientifically testable theorem of design…? It’s ridiculous to me, to conjure up something so disconnected from the observable “realities” around us, just so absurd
A man by this name Jesus may probably have lived some two thousand years ago ! However , was this man the promised messiah referred to in the O T ? Although many claims and stories have been made about this Jesus the Only thing that could stand out as verification of who he is claimed to be is his promised return with his fathers javic celestial kingdom some 1900 + years ago ! Revelation , chapter 22, where he promises THREE Times that he is coming " SOON ' ! As this did NOT happen as promised , it certainly casts enormous doubt on the authenticity of this jesus as this redeeming prophet , son of man / god messiah !
Dr. Meyer usually comes across really awkward in interviews, however in this interview with Morgan, he nails it, best interview he's had in years. Brilliant.
