nice play! how come there were almost no big monsters and flying ones? for me, after the 3 portal, i got massive waves of those... is there any trick to avoidd them? i passed this lvl in a different strategy, which required a lot of patience too that was the hardest lvl ever haha well played! i cant believe i finally passed it' and all i get in the end of it is 4 lame skulls on the coat of arms! xD
@@theflash9418 i have the gindom new lands editiin that was gifted by epig games some time ago it is not the normal one. but i can't get the second island done pwp
Great job! I just got this on a Steam Sale and I've tried about 4-5 runs now and kept getting destroyed by the waves that come from attacking the portals. My latest run I got softlocked cuz I didn't realize clearing the forest made the camps disappear. I'm definitely going to try this strat out for one final attempt! Thanks for giving me the motivation for one more go at it. <3
Nice video! Thank you so much! After I lost five times after day 40 or so, I finally got it after day 15. Is there a version of this video where you explain why you do certain things? For example, is it really the best thing to not have farmers? Why are they in the game?
I don't have a video explaining my runs, but I can recommend videos from TecThor. This one, for example, is very similar to my run but with explanations: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EoSUB0D8CNE.html Here he explains even more about the game in general: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OblRh7dxzCw.html Farmers are excellent in the long run, but not so much in shorter runs. They require a big investment in coins at the beginning and aren't helpful in battles. Archers, however, can fight and also generate coins. If you plan on playing for a long time, farmers will generate more coins than archers.
This is from a newer Version of the game (Two Crowns), but it works the same way: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G2W1vxaptiI.html Basically, you grab as many coins as you can before entering the boat.
I do this to get more villagers. After about 2 minutes a new person appears and picks up the coin. The coins also disappear after 2 minutes, so I only drop 1 coin. Sometimes they get attacked and don't reach the kingdom, but it's often worth it to leave a coin.
@@lumen811I understand the logic, but sometimes I see you have 1 or 2 newly recruited villagers coming from behind you (from a further camp), wouldn't they pick up the coins on their way back to the base?
Okay but I am so surprised that none of the retaliation blood moons had breeders and floaters until the 11th night. I was pretty sure that even when I did it early on, they came.
The retaliation waves change based on how many portals are destroyed. For the first two portals there are no breeders, for the 3rd and 4th portal there are 2 breeders each, for the 5th there are 3 breeders and for the 6th destroyed portal 5 breeders spawn. The number of days doesn't influence retaliation waves. I don't remember how many floaters spawn with retaliation waves. Retaliation waves only come from one side and in this video they're just out of view in most cases. At some points in the video you can see that the game doesn't save on a new day (examples: 16:12, 28:12, 32:12, 40:12). That's because the retaliation is not defeated at that point. The fourth normal blood moon spawns 1 floater, but that happens between day 20 and 24 and breeders probably spawn a bit later than that. After the left skull portal was destroyed, I got lucky. The game tried to spawn the retaliation on the left side (spawn side is random), but there was no portal left. That's why the blood moon vanished at 48:55. I hope that answers your questions.
@@lumen811 Thank you, that is v. informative! I recently beat Skull Island, but definitely not as fast as this. Part of succeeding in Kingdom really comes from knowing the auto-system well.
Wasn't there supposed to be a final wave? I just got to island 5 but I think I read somewhere that is should be a final wave after destroying both cliff portals
