My name is Zachary Seif, thank you for watching my official RU-vid channel.
Zack, whats up dude! Just got the FM9 delivered last night and looking for a pelican or Apache for it. There's also Nanuk. Been using an Apache for the AX8 and has been great. With the fm9 it's tought to find a case JUST for it alone kinda a double edged blade scenario- yea can fit more stuff in the case but now it's gonna be bigger and heavier. Thanks for making this video brother I'm highly considering these pelicans 1535, 1555, 1606, and 1615, 1595 ... Apache 5800 maybe? the pelican airs are just so lightweight that I can justify the higher pricepoint... thanks again Lou
i dont know if you’ll see this but i stumbled upon this video wondering if dream theater was inspired by boston’s song Foreplay / Long Time in the making of octavarium (the song). i just noticed that during foreplay, the song sounds kinda similar to first like quarter of octavarium. could be wrong but i just wanted to know if u had heard anything like that or at least understand the connection i made?
Every wedding is different! Sets correlate to the flow of the evening and are worked out ahead of time with the wedding planner, but nothing ever goes perfectly to schedule haha. Could be 15 mins, 2 hours straight, all depends on what other events are happening, speech length, dinner delays, pictures, cake etc.
Did you try it in a downtown gig? I am asking this because there is an actual chance of interference with stuff such as venue Wi-Fi, Computers, monitors and electronic stuff like that, passing cars Bluetooth systems, police and/or cab radio frecuencies… cannot think of a more demanding scenario for a wireless system.
I've been using it for 2 months and have had 0 issues. Weddings, galas, backyards, bars, festivals, acoustic gigs, and casinos. No interference or drop outs😄
"This is is one of my favorite guitars..." IMHO, it's like you had a Ferrari car and you would complain for the engine that is wearing out because of its (VERY PLEASANT) usage. 🤣🤣🤣 In 20 years also the PRS relic guitars will also become valued and sought after... Be patient and enjoy the sound of yours. 🤩
I like aristides guitars, but "tone, sound, etc" just comes from the pickups, amp, bridge and your technique. BOdy material really doesn't have a real influence on this.
Man I used to swear by Elixir, but my tech put on a set of Dunlops on my Les Paul, and they're still rocking strong 3 months in! They feel really nice too
Mass production operations are always looking for ways to increase production while reducing costs. And while not all brands are all the same and some prioritize quality more than others, it doesn't surprise me to hear this.
Great review, finally something more than "it's awesome, go buy it!" How does the neck shape compare to things like the JP15? Is it the same or did they change something like they did for Rabea's model?
It's like a better JP15. Little thinner, slightly wider, and super comfy like a 15 but with a different radius. Very comfortable and I use it all night with no issues.
I have the 7 string version in the same OG finish as you (2019 model) and it's the best guitar I've ever played- better than my JPs, Abasi Master Series Larada and others. It surprised me that people describe these as light cause mine is honestly fairly heavy, which I love about it combined with its big size; it's resonant, and as a tall person it feels just right. forever guitar for sure. love yours, need to try the 6!
You can simply plug it straight into a board and then compensate gain on the channel strip on the mixer :) Does it help to have a DI Box? Yeah you can find a cheap one and send an XLR to you the board for correct impedance matching but it's not 100% needed as long as you can run a 1/4" cable to the board
it is the les paul of super strats. It covers a ton of tonal ground. Future classic. You do not need to know who Jason Richardson is to appreciate this weapon. it is an absolute beast.
Jason Richardson supports the genocide of Palestinians. He is a Zionist. The fact that you are shilling his warez makes you complicit in genocide as well.
Great review. I took a chance and purchased a JR6 (Majora Purple) recently, and wow, its phenomenal. At first, I was ready to replace the pickups but the one day I decided to change the battery when I was setting up the guitar---BAM---the pickups sounded completely different and now sounded great! Decided that I didn't need to replace the pickups because the stock ones were actually really good. Of course, pickups are always personal preference of course.
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts now that Fractal updated the Pitch Block algorithm. Im on an FM9 so I haven't gotten to use the new algorithm yet.
Thanks for the video. I would love to have heard it tested with an acoustic guitar & and a looper pedal, which is what I would like to use it for. Would you have any advice on the best small practice amp (for ~€100 mark) which would be good for looping a Takamine acoustic guitar with built-in pickup & pre-amp - for home/bedroom use only. Would appreciate any guide here.
