Spoilers: You know what, I ain't even mad by this. Sure it's a loss and triple axel wasn't working, but that was a close and insane match. We may have lost, but I know we can and will bounce back!
Revealing both Mirror Coat and Endure for no result at all really hurt the rest of the battle, IMO. But yeah, the most important thing was that Single Axel cause if you kill Duraludon here then Froslass is still at full health and everything on the other side takes at least neutral damage from Ice moves + you still have a priority, Froslass would have been really good in that end game
@23:34, was I think the critical part of this battle. I think sacing the haterene was the play, going into moxie crook and forcing a 50/50 on staying in with raikou or switching hawlucha. The opponent may not have known the crook was choiced too. if called correctly the galvantula had what was needed to clean up depending on the scrafty's spread if crook had to go down.
I was gonna ask why dazzling gleam instead of moon blast on hatterene, surprise surprise this thing could never learn moon blast which is kinda shocking

I hate to say this, but i feel like almost each season has come down to the drafts. We constantly come up against much stronger pokemon and teams and ben has to play PERFECTLY to win. A better draft and ben coaching like his usual self, top seed easy.
@@LittleMissZackyVeeno, I should have went Tentacruel. It really had no more use. The amount of people forgetting Duraludon could hit me with a Draco and just kill me is insane tho.
Frostlas needs wide lens not choice band. Helps with Poltergeist, Triple Axel and Icicle Crash. I think Poltergeist would have been a better move than Triple Axel, you lose 10 bp but don't have to go for accuracy checks thrice.
Or Beneral shouldve just gone into the Krookodile the turn he went into the Froslass and double switched into the Froslass baiting the Hawlucha out. Those are the kind of bold plays he usually makes
