Dunno if you guys saw my intro this week, but I hope you know that I meant every single word when I said you all inspired me to evolve into who I am now as a creator. Beyond grateful to you guys and I'm glad that I got to share the stage with you all again this week! Great game and here's to the Ultimate Play More comeback! LFG!

If y’all are curious about whether or not the crit at the end mattered, I ran the calcs: Without the crit, 0 spatk volt switch would’ve done ~36.9-44.2 to 120 hp Valiant. Modest scarf shadow ball from dragapult does 56.7-67%. Val could’ve been at 63-55.8%, which is means that while the roll is still on Uzi’s favor, there was around a 33% chance Zoro could’ve lived if there was no crit. Tl;dr Uzi had 2:1 odds of winning without the crit.

I just have to shout out the editor and their amazing timing with the music and the tension of the battle.

Tough loss but I'm actually glad to see some good adjustments this week on the team building front. I feel like the past couple weeks it was "I have good mons I have to bring the good mons simulator" so utilizing the whole draft is a good sign.

Props to Jon for his solo commentary that can not have been easy

I feel like Uzi is truly showing that he is being Play mores rival and that he is a towering titan that the Beneral has to beat. Especially since Uzi keeps throwing the Beneral off his game, and have him instead play the Uzi game. Uzi is the Blue for Play more.

It was a loss in the end, but it was a good battle. The beneral played a good game, and made it super close in the end

Man that was entertaining af Seeing rotom fire off that thunder wave, i could just hear the door to victory just slaming in our noses. As always huge props ti the Beneral, at the beginning with how the team was looking we thought this season was gonna be a landslide, but now its looking like a underdog story, and those are always entertainment

Excellent prep and play all around and an exciting battle as well down to the wire. I know being 1-3 hurts but don't get too down on yourself Ben, this is probably the most stacked draft league of all time, with around half the league having won a championship and some with multiple. It is an absolute bloodbath. Also love the dramatic music changes and editing

Based on the EV spreads on both sides I'm pretty sure +1 Aura Sphere from Valiant was a guaranteed KO on Rotom through Chople at the range it was at. Hard to tell for sure without exact numbers though. GGs regardless

Honestly, these battles have been engaging to watch. Anyone can tell that you're legit doing your best with the mistakes being minimal as far as I can see. This last battle, especially, was nail bitingly close. I love this crew & feel like your time is near for victory

I bounced back and forth between you guys' perspective and Uzi's, and I can confirm this was an extremely hyped match from both sides! I will confess that Uzi's my #1 fave, but you guys are an insanely close #2, and I had _such_ a blast watching this. Like, I legit could feel my heart accelerating the more turns went by. I'm still rooting for Play More to make it as far as possible and I have high hopes you guys can clutch the victory next week! ❤

Definitely feel the frustration Ben. Sometimes even playing the best mons we've ever played, sometimes its not enough. I definitely feel the frustration when it comes to playing draft league sometimes. Like in a league I played that is coming towards its conclusion, this season was easily the worst I've ever played and was the most frustrating thing to just keep tasting defeat. Bouncing back for the next game or bouncing back for the next season is all we can do sometimes. You got this next week!

This was a fantastic battle though. It truly was a back and forth game you starting out with a hard burn and then the rocks, and climbing your way out and just barely losing. Regardless im rooting for yall

The current standings: 3 kills for glastrier (Jirachi, blastoise, Drifblim) 1 kill for amoonguss (Ursaluna) 3 kills for garchomp (Talonflame, Revavroom, Iron treads) 4 kills for valiant (Enamorus, Meowscarada, H-Qwillfish, A-Persian) 2 kills for metagross (Tornadus-T, Ting-lu) 1 kill for Jugulis (Deoxys defense, ) 1 kill for ceruledge (Azumarill) Bonus stat: Only valiant, garchomp and glastrier left for perfect attendance with metagross' absence. Only further thing to note is: That chople berry was absolutely genius.

I feel like you guys really need some more heavy duty boots users and/or hazard setters

Everyone's been touting "Top draft in the league" and so it's easy to get stuck wanting to do such a venerated team justice but clearly something isnt totally gelling with the coach's playstyle. Which is fine! We all have our own playstyles and what works for one player might not work for another. You guys can do great. ♡

Biggest misplay was bringing out the blanket before turn 1. Really killed any momentum he could of created and ultimately led to brain rot. Hopefully someone will get him some Duke merch in the future.

Yeah dragapult basically does there exactly what I would always do back in the day with Zeraora but better. Nothing could outspeed it when scarfed so with just a bit of chip it swept basically everything

This one does hurt a lot, not just because Ben played really well against a really tough opponent, but because I actually watched Uzi's video where he talked through his draft, and he was just so smug about it.

What's sad is if you pay attention at the start of the video, you already know we lost the battle because it showed the opposition has 3 W and 1 L with only 3 matches into the season and then it showed 2 W and 1 L as we went into it...... Misplay on Ben's side at the end that definitely lost them the game, the correct play would be to encore persian into the 4x resisted move and get a calm mind up,forcing a switch or they just let you set up.

I know it’s a game of trying to outsmart an opponent… but can’t you have a hazard set up on one of the weaker team members? So you’re not risking a member like Garchomp as a hazard set up? Considering the hazards of this match got some of the highest amounts of damage.

one other play that could have won the game is going for bitter blade instead of endure to get the needed damage on rotom

The bigest flaws like Play more team is so offencive incredible is ona the best in the draft and this is the flaw that mean so many team will try to built bulcky teams around us and chip away. Man yea the crit is so on fair. We still believe in Play more how said that they gonna lose when we lose we stand up and show the dumb people want really Play more is built. We always believe in Play more the coach we have the best one. WE CAN DO IT THE DRAFT IS NOT OVER. We will rise from this we need to believe . Great game to watch! Probably fav team in the league! I do think though that swapping to jug on the t-wave from a-Persian rather than enduring with ceruledge would have given you better odds of taking the game at the end. Jug gets a chance to hit something with Hurricane which if it hits I think won you the game no matter which mon took it (a-Persian dies, dragapult dies, rotom put in range of aura sphere through chople). The only scenario I think you lose there is if he kills jug with Persian (which you would then encore like you said in the vid) or swaps to rotom after t wave and you miss or para which isn’t too unlikely. Even still you’d still have 75% ceruledge after rocks to take a hit from rotom and poltergeist something back. Obviously I had much more time to think about the play than you so I don’t fault the frazzled play, just something to think about to improve! Good luck in future weeks and can’t wait for the comeback arc. Time to comeback as post timeskip one piece squad.
