there's truly nothing more insane than the sf4 devs giving balrog one of the most genuinely devilish ultra 1s in the game, then deciding to give him a JUMPABLE COMMAND GRAB ULTRA 2???? definitely the idea ever imo my opinion
It made me happy to see that you uploaded a new vid, and even happier that it was a longer-form one. The short stuff like "Worst Moves" is still a treat, but it made me a little giddy to see someone that’s well-worded like yourself combining thoughts from academia, with something as fun and generally down-to-earth like the FGC. I think I know a move worse than DIO’s die move. Nemesis’s fatal mutation from umvc3. It’s a grab so the range is shit but unlike other grabs in umvc3 THE STARTUP HAS NO I-FRAMES. so basically you have to go up to your opponent (which is hard with nemesis since he is slow as my grandma going down the stairs) then do the input and hope your opponent just stands there because if they do an attack, the move gets canceled, if they jump it whiffs. Very shit move.
I just call this move kokoda (I think that’s how I would spell the word that DIO is saying when you use this) also there is one way to use this move. Do it in time stop.
Here's the thing, it was only ever since GGXX Slash (which was released in Japan only), DI was actually nerfed to its current +R state (decreased your own stun resistance when it wore off and ends when knocked down like some Super Saiyan shit).
Why would you make a boomerang projectile and not give it a hit box on the way back? What were they thinking? Did they just forget to add it? It may as well just disappear after it hits.
