I don't think the point about Heaven being misguided was ever about the Exterminations themselves, rather its the black and white thinking as well as the impossibility of redemption that makes Heavens actions wrong. There is a reason us humans have the concept of "rehabilitation imprisonment" ,because we have underlying understanding that: - people might commit crimes (sins in this case) due to circumstances they are in ,and giving them a second chance might prove fruitful. There are also simply evil people that cannot improve in any way and need to be kept away from society ,but for A MAJORITY of criminals, while they need to be kept accountable for their actions, knowing how different circumstances might have influenced their behaviour is to be considered. In the Bible itself there is a passage where God reprimands the angels for being arrogant towards mankind and claims that, if the angels were subjected to the same pressures of the material world as humans on Earth, they would struggle too in mantaining righteousness. The show itself alludes to this when Adam claims there are "no hard days in heaven" , it is easy to be righteous if everything is handed to you. I also think that being able to redeem in Hell is actually harder than on Earth: on Earth there are incentives to behave properly,such as laws and societal pressure, in Hell the most vile and wicked are those that get rewarded the most (which is another issue with Hell in HH, the most evil sinners actually do better than the more "casual" sinners). For Heaven to treat every soul equally and not consider how noble the act of trying to redeem oneself in Hell is, can be considered heavily misguided, to add fuel to the fire they don't even know what gets people into Hell/Heaven and what severity of actions warrant eternal punishment. Lucifer and free will : the show never made this very clear but could it be that, given the name of the tree as "knowledge of good and evil", that humans before the apple were like children unable to tell which actions are good and which aren't. Would also explain Adam's douchy behaviour becayse,since he didn't eat the apple, he is basically a manchild unable to understand where his actions land him. Also we don't know if Adam/Lilith/Eve were mind-controlled before eating the fruit so believing that Lucifer actions only brought Evil into the world is not super accurate. Overall the Exterminations are bad in the context of lumping every sinner together (considering HOW MANY supposed sinners get sent there one would guess that it is impossible for the majority of humanity to be murderous psychopaths and most are simply flawed people that made mistakes).

I have a bizarre theory that the ginger girl from the teaser might actually be camille ferros or has some relations to house ferros another is jayce to save Viktor's life is that jayce turns him into a cyberborg by using the hexcore as powersource for Viktor's new body and that the hexcire is actually the thing that saves jayce viktor and Mel's lives from jinx's rocket

Ambessa will be like Senator Palpatine and she will manipulate someone,maybe Caitlyn using her grief and need for revenge to Control. Caitlyn could go Darth Kiramman go to extremes to get Jinx. In so doing Zaun will unite against a greater threat than Jinx. Could even see Jinx become a symbol of hope instead of fear for Zaun.

Heaven is hell to Adam. Think about it. Adam loves being in control and hates being bossed around by Sera. If he was in hell, he would be having the time of his afterlife doing whatever he wants. In heaven, he's restricted on what he can or can't do

I think adam is an exception. And not actualy indicative of what you need to do to go to heaven. Scolars are (as usual) not agree why but him genting to heaven is coud be because of him telling the story of Genesis to his descendants. Or because of kahin Sacrificing abel or and this is a BIG ONE In the bible Jesus's died to relive humanity of the original sin. The one committed by adam and eve. With that Adam is sinles but this would mean he was in hell. And him not knowing god sacrificed himself to himself by humans to forgive his and humanity sins seems unlikely. Either way. Whatever the rules are he is an exception. I personally think it's based on what the soul thinks about itself. We yet to encounter somebody both in hazbin hotel and heluva boss who think he/she is not belongs to hell. But this is obviously harder to Verify. With only 3 humans we know endig up in heaven. This even works if i was wrong about Adam being an exception. Itd make sense given how Mel is so connected to Gold, while her mom is only seen wearing Silverish grey. But in the new trailer her mom is suddenly wearing gold, which I’m convinced is honoring her daughter.

We will avenge your mother doesn't necessarily mean Caitlyn's mom is dead. She could be very badly injured though, perhaps in critical condition. There's also a very small chance they're referring to another character's mother, but I doubt that one. Lore spoilers ahead: the reason I think Caitlyn's mom could be alive is because she's supposed to be kidnapped by someone in the future according to the lore. So killing Caitlyn's mom here would mean retconning that. I suppose they can make minimal changes to that part of the lore by having only her father being kidnapped instead. Still, Caitlyn's mom kind of grew on me in the show so I'd be a bit heartbroken if she died here. But it would make more sense to keep Mel alive instead of Caitlyn's mom or both of them, since Mel is just an infinitely more interesting character, and keeping both of them AND Jayce and Viktor alive would feel like plot armor. Not to mention that Caitlyn dealing with her mother's loss would make her rivalry with Jinx + relationship with Vi gloriously dramatic.

Ironically, my reason for thinking Mel isn't dead is Ambessa's line "You're council is dead". I'm surprised by how many decided to take this line litterally. The way I see it, the council recieved such a devastating blow by Jinx that for all practical purposes, it is now dead. Meaning, it's remaining members are either too few to form a "legitimate council", or they're currently too severly wounded to cary out their duties. In any case, the way Ambessa phrases her line is one of the reasons I think Mel is still alive. She doesn't state, "My daughter is dead", but instead she focuses on the council and its collapse as the governing entity in Piltover. And who is she talking to when refering to "Your council"? To me, this sounds like something she would say to either Mel, or Jayce, or both. The other reason I think Mell is alive, is her tone of voice. It is not that of a warrior and a mother having experienced a devastating and personal loss. Remember the vulnerability she exposed in the last episode of season 1 when she told Mel "You weakened me!" Mel's death would impact her severly, no matter how hardened she is as a warrior. Instead it sounds much more like she's finally found a justification to further her goal towards securing hextech weaponry, which she states as her main intent in season 1. Hence the line "Wrath must be met with wrath", meaning she can now invade Piltover/Zaun to claim hextech on the moral grounds that she's doing what's necessary to protect the city. That's why I belive Mel's still alive.

havent seen the video yet but, Jayce and Viktor and game champions so they wont die like the rest of the champions and if Mel had died the tone of her mother in the trailer woudl be supper different in my opinion, not trying to convive but giving straing up orders

The statue in the teaser trailer of season 2 isn't actually jinx it's margot(the t is silent so it's pronounced margo) she is one of the chem barrons at 2:35 in the right corner the blonde girl compare her design and the statue they are extremely similar so I'm guessing that margot is actually an ally of jinx and sevika my guess the fight between the yordle and sevika it is hinting that there is power vacuum going on fighting to be top dog

Based on League lore (consider that a slight spoiler warning): Jayce and Viktor are obviously surviving. Caitlyn's mom will most likely also survive since she plays an important part in Caitlyn's future, unless they retcon that (which would be a shame cause that story is a great part of the lore). Mel's glowy armor definitely means something, since Arcane never shows anything unless there's a reason for it. This whole Solari theory is a plausible one for sure. However if Jayce, Viktor, Caitlyn's mom AND Mel survive, it'd feel like plot armor for all the main/likeable council members. So I'm nervous about s2 regardless. Mel's design is too good to part with so soon though!😭

I think you missed some details :) Behind Smeech, you can see Jinx :) And I suspect Sevika was not only loyal to Silco but also to his goals and Jinx has same goals as Silco (before he decides to make peace with Piltover) :) Sevika using Jinx's gun and a new arm made by Jinx is, for me, a proof they are working together against other Chem-Barons.

Only Mel can die. The rest ist too important. Especially since her mum is going to become a league champ it would make sense to set her story up.

It wouldn't make sense for Viktor to die, his entire character plot from the game has not even started and after Riot decided to make Arcane cannon for the games while also keeping the original lore too, they basically HAVE to make Viktor survive, because the game character couldn't exist otherwise.

Jayce and Viktor are in the lol game so they are 100% alive as it takes place out after arcane

Interesting, Caitlyn says Locate Jinx not neutralize Jinx that is significant. I don’t think Jinx is going to die. I actually think they’re trying to find Jinx because of Warwick. I do think the main face off will be with Vander, rather Warwick. And one of the previous teasers.Jinx says “I’m glad it’s you, it had to be you”. I think she’s talking to Warwick. If she does die it will be against Warwick, and possibly trying to save her sister after fighting her. I do think, though she will survive the season.

This isn’t a theory, atleast the Jayce and viktor parts. Both of them obviously survive, anyone who plays league knows that viktor and Jayce’s story is far from over
