Hello all, my name is Danny. I LOVE music and thought it would be cool to react/review music videos. I have a creative side to me so music + art is something that's is exciting to me. My videos will bring out some goofy expressions so feel free to take a friendly jab at me. When you hit that little red subscribe button I will take your requests (my list is steadily growing). Let's sit back and enjoy some good music together! This music video reaction channel is dedicated to all of you; much love and thanks to all my supporters!
I've been doing this since the end of March 2018 and typically I upload 1-2 videos per week. Hit me up on my Facebook page or Twitter. See my social media links below (just click the little icon).
Queen is my favorite band. Freddie being the best singer ever. I don’t know which of these songs would be ok do post. But even just in your free time you HAVE to listen to: I’m Going Slightly Mad It’s A Kind Of Magic Breakthrough One Vision
When I hear this song I get this very unique feeling that basically hits me in the gut... it's hard to describe. That's a positive as well. Hum is an underrated song and I bet The Sheila Devine is that as well. Thank you for the view & comment :)
That's basically because today's country is basically more pop influenced... sadly. Progression has eliminated the roots of country. Thank you for your view and comment :)
A true talent that many have told me has grown into an incredible young lady... just looked her up and she's now 18 years old. Thank you for your view & comment :)
Jeff Buckley had, in my opinion, the greatest and most angelic, purest, powerful, human, expressive, freeing, soulful voice in music history. We will never hear a voice as strong, clear, good, and natural as Buckley's. He was a once-in-a-lifetime gift that is comparable to no-one. Greatest songwriter, greatest lyricist, a poet in the truest sense. the type of lyrics Jeff would write is such language we may not see again in modern popular music. he was a real, authentic, honest spirit amongst the blistering hurricane of life, and chose to be different, avant-garde and fresh. he was a million lightyears ahead of what an artist is even capable of doing, especially back then. Jeff played an insane amount of instruments proficiently to a high, professional level, and was a visionary for his artistic work. He saw things that many people didn't, he was observant, perceptive and philosophical in themes like nature, politics, death & the world. A musical legend gone way too soon. I hope he's in a better, more peaceful place. R.I.P. Jeff Buckley (1966-1997) you were able to transform your sorrow, tragedy and pain into beautiful, heart wrenching music.
Probably up there as one of the biggest crowds in American history. It also came with many negatives as the festival moved on. That said, I wish I went! Thank you for your view & comment :)
The line that gets me every time is, "The flowers that you planted in your back yard mama, all died when you went away." I don't know if it was his own pain he was projecting in this song, but the cello definitely set the tone along with his interpretation of it. Best cover of the song if you ask me and a great loss to everyone when he passed. Great reaction!
I'm sure that it had more than 1 meaning. He knew he was living with some demons as well as the original lyrics to the song being intact. Now I'm going to have to watch this reaction to see if I can study the depth of that line. I know that I truly miss him! Outshined by Soundgarden was my 1st experience with his vocals... so much damn talent (gone!). Thank you for your view and comment. I'm glad you enjoyed this one :) My favorite cover is by Johnny Cash. His rendition of Hurt is amazing... I reacted to that one as well.
@@DannymikReactsthis is true. He just had that iconic kind of voice that the minute you heard it, you instantly knew who it was. I love Sunshower from that Great Expectations album. I will have to watch your review of Hurt by Johnny Cash.
Incredibly talented group! When I get rolling again they are on my radar for a few videos that are out there in RU-vid land! Thank you for your view & comment :)
I just discovered you, Danny, here when you discovered Pentatonix. Why did you stop reacting to them? Have you heard Daft Punk, Hallelujah, Imagine, The Prayer? We'd love to share them with you.
Hello! My "pause" on reactions has/had nothing to do with any group. I often work out of that room for my job so it was geared towards what I do for a living. I'm currently trying to get it fit for duo purpose... work & RU-vid. Yes, Pentatonix is on my list when I get it cranked up again. My plans are to sprinkle in new reactions when I can... thank you for your support, and I'm sorry I've been absent!
Thank you for sharing that with me. It's hard to alter the purity of music but this one does an okay job at that. I appreciate your view and comment/link!
Fans of the group are called "Pentahaulics". If you watch 1 or 2 more videos you'll be one... FEAR NOT...! The girl is named Kirstin Maldonado. The guy with the really high voice is Mitch Grassi, and the blondish guy is named Scott Hoying. I mention those 3 because they went to school together in Arlington, Texas. The competition they won in its 3rd season was called The Sing Off.
Nice! I just learned (from a comment) that there is a live performance of this song on RU-vid... I figure that would be fun to react to and I have the Daft Punk medley on my radar. Thank you for the view and information!
Sheesh... the name of that song is really something! People in the comment section have told me that Wembley Stadium was 1 hell of a concert. Thank you for the view and request!
RU-vid bounced me onto your channel this mornin' and I really enjoyed how much you enjoyed the 90's Dance Medley and your creativity in showin' the clips of the original artists. By the way PENTATONIX means 5 (PENTA) Tonix (Tones or voices). I couldn't find any other PENTATONIX reactions that you did. I just subscribed in case ya do. Want more fun..? Check out the 90's Dance Medley live... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U10A4ijmEH4.html
I really do appreciate your support so thank you! I thought that adding the original clips was showing respect to the original artists AND that some people should see the original vs what Pentatonix pulled off. I know all the originals and this crew did an amazing job. I couldn't believe that they could produce all the sounds organically. So much talent! Also, I didn't know that there was a live version of this on RU-vid. That in itself could be a future reaction. I do know that I'm interested in the Daft Punk medley... so now both are on my radar. Again, thank you for the suggestion and view!!
Just saw your reaction today and I wanted to fill in a few details about this song. It could seem to be about Freddie but the song was written by Brian May...the guitarist...who was going through some serious issues with his marriage and his father was sick...they didn't always have the best relationship and Brian suffers from depression. I guess in a way this song sort of covers all of the things going on his life in 1990. Queen went on to do another album after this one so while Freddie was sick and not in great shape, he did work on another album but was never able to finish it. It's called Made In Heaven.
Wow... I believe you are the only person who has shared this with me, and I've received a lot of comments on this reaction. It's incredible that they made another album while Freddie was sick. I can't imagine how hard that must've been. When I feel sick I barely want to anything... Freddie pushed very hard with his vocals, probably draining him of everything he had. Thank you for explaining this... gives me a different look on this song. At least I did get the part right about Brian May writing it. The message is what I assumed and you know how that turns out when you don't have the facts. Musicians are very complicated people, which is probably they create such complicated melodies. So powerful! Take care!!
@@DannymikReacts You're very welcome. Glad to fill in the blanks. One thing I wanted to tell you not band related, was more about your wife. My mom was a nurse and If she had still be alive and working during Covid she would have been in the same situation. Kudos to her and to you going through such a rough time. The rest of us were restricted and felt insecure about the sitaution but we felt NOTHING compared to what the medical community went through...and their familiies as well. I feel for your wife and all she had her coworkers went through to care for so many that unfortunately got so sick.
When he puts on a show like that then most people should pick up on it. He simply went off in this song. Dolores makes most of her music seem that it's easy for her but I bet she pushed herself to levels us common folk aren't familiar with. This was a great GREAT song and performance! Thank you for the view and comment ✌
keep going with more beasties tracks--a very deep rabbit hole. for metal bands, i like: faxed head, discordance axis, corrupted, die kreuzen, bolt thrower, burmese, voivod, darkthrone, amebix, napalm death, godflesh, krallice, gorguts, etc.
Sounds like a plan. Are there any Beastie Boys tracks that get blocked or give reaction channels and trouble (that you know of)? The only bands that I know of from that list is Napalm Death & Godflesh... that's a heavy ass list! Thank you for your view and comment!!
I am trying as I’m currently reorganizing the room I used to record in. The past couple years I worked remotely in there when necessary. I miss doing these reactions so there’s a really good chance I’ll be up and running soon.
I'm not sure on all the specifics and details of the live footage versus the album versions but from this song I can see why people are so high on this show. Thank you for your comment and view :) No estoy seguro de todos los detalles y detalles del metraje en vivo versus las versiones del álbum, pero a partir de esta canción puedo ver por qué la gente está tan entusiasmada con este programa. Gracias por tu comentario y visualización :)
Some have said that he's a plant for political reasons but I don't agree. He says what he wants to say and has all the freedom he wants. I need to get back at it so I can experience more of his music. Thank you!!!
From everything I’ve learned about Queen, they practiced to an insane degree and their live performances reflected it. This is the best live performance of any song I personally have ever seen
I've reacted to 2 live performances by them and they were equally amazing... that's something you don't see very often. Thank you for the view and comment!
I remember when this song was released. There had already been a few music videos where Freddie Mercury didnt look well, and I remember my dad say he didnt like the song because it sounded like he was telling everyone he was dying.
After hearing this song a handful of times now I can see where your father was coming from. Brian May wrote this song? It's a sad way to look at life but it's also an honest message. I may react to the original video since a handful of people has told me to do so. I'm rearranging the room I record in (since I occasionally work from home in there these days) so it's a little bit of a battle to get it done quickly. Thank you for your comment and view!!
The best combination of reactor, video and text in one ever! Thank you. I saw your reactions, I saw artists clearly, and lyrics. You are a true master of composition : )
Wow, thank you! I have tried to improve as I learned more and more about this RU-vid thing. Nowadays I'm aiming to make it as good or even better while lessening the amount of time to get a video out to you viewers. It's a work in progress but a goal I know I'll hit. Thanks again!!
I am not familiar with that one... "Royals"?? I will say that this video right here was one of my favorite reactions. I love EDM and this group has uber talent!!! Thank you!
That's the FREDDIE EFFECT! He gives his all. They were very close friends. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY 1946-1991. Died 11/24/1991 45 yrs old. We love and miss you always ❤️ You left is your beautiful voice to carry us alone. RIP my friend until we meet Again ❤❤❤❤
The funny thing is that I'm in the process of reorganizing... I'm trying to make it easier on my heavy personal schedule to make a return. I'm optimistic so take that for what it's worth. Thank you for the support :)
"Mother Love" from the Made in Heaven cd is an amazing song! It is Freddie's last song he recorded and was to finish it but never was able to so Brian May sang the last verse. So haunting!
Freddie & the band were just FABULOUS, especially Somebody to love. Freddie's voice is undeniably phenenomenal!!! The drummer Roger Taylor, sensational as well as singing. Amazing band!!!!!!! 💝💝💝💝💝
The Movie "Flash Gordon" was one that I watched a bunch as a kid... loved the movie AND soundtrack. Queen recorded all the songs and I sometimes find myself listening to it while working. They were a band that experimented and I feel it made them who they were/are. UBER amount of talent (across the board)... makes me sad he's gone. RIP Freddie Mercury. Thank you for your view & comment!
When it's your very first time listening to an artist a "reaction" with a good amount of dialogue is common. I get what you're saying but put yourself in a stranger's shoes. Regardless, we as humans are unique... our personalities are different which produces a different style. Honestly, I find it boring when a reactor just sits there and doesn't say much until the song is over. I want to hear them touch on the little nuances within a song. Pausing it every 15 seconds is a different story... either way, I appreciate you checking this one out. I was just talking to a good friend (who loves Jeff Buckley) and told him that I need to do a live version of one of his songs. I've been told that's where he shines. Thank you!
