This channel is dedicated to a Marvel character that is driven by revenge due to the tragic loss of his wife and children..Take a journey with me and explore one of the most deadliest yet, misunderstood anti-heroes in the Marvel Universe!
Ninjutsu does not fit with the Punisher imo, he is a soldier not a ninja. Boxing, Jujitsu and Muay Thai or Karate should be enough, it is not necessary to transform him in a Martial Art super-expert, he is more based in guns than in hand to hand combat.
You might be the man to help me. I remember years ago (10 plus) I was reading a punisher comic or a comic featuring him and I don't know if it's a different version of the van but it looks like he jerry rigged an apache helicopter cockpit and turned it into a land vehicle. If you have any information please let me know. I've been searching the web like a mad man trying to find it.
Thank you so much. Now I can sleep well at night knowing I'm not crazy lol. You weren't the man that might be able to help me. You are THE MAN that was able to help me.
I seriously hope we get to see Barracuda in the new Punisher series, he's such a fascinating villain to me. He's a cannibal, a psychopath, a war criminal....but he's so damned affable as long as you don't cross him or betray him. The guy can't even team up with someone without accidentally killing them with an affable pat on the back, he's just....built different.
My personal hypothesis on it has always been that Frank is always punishing himself to some degree, which makes the Penance Stare redundant by whatever specific rules it operates by. It also doesn't work on people that are "just that insane" such as Deadpool or Thanos (and arguably Venom and potentially Moon Knight if the Rider ever tries it on Jake or Marc, and maby Steven too), so take that as you will.
I believe this was also referenced in The Punisher 2005 game. So, That would be the M60 Machine Gun, Also known as "The Hog", relic from the Vietnam War
I don't remember that but Ennis did have Frank using an m-60 quite a bit. Many consider Frank as the definitive Punisher writer. I lean towards Chuck Dixon, so I think Colt .45.
@@cheeseburger12 yes. That too. And if I remember correctly, Ennis and Dixon have some sort of influence towards the Punisher game. Given that Frank can also equip the .45 in the 2005 game
From what i gather the penance stare works on the sins you have committed or the guilt you may have therefore a righteous person will never be affected and deadpool just enjoys what he does
Ghost Rider Penance Stare Dosen't Work On ptsd person because Frank's suffer enough saw his family deaths in front of him Penance stare works on villans Frank's different to Ghost rider power Frank's only target the ones who killed his family he had been suffering trauma of his family death that's how Ghost rider Penance stare Dosen't work on Frank's mind because he's the soldier following his own path to vengeance against jigsaw. Frank's Dosen't kill innocent people family members cuz he is the vengeance Ghost rider just nothing more than Mortal to him
They never tried to replace frank, it was like many others in the past a adaptation to break up the flow. Long time fan of the character and I've seen this done before, just like those times Mt prediction was "this will be fun until we get back to frank" no fear or doubt about it, and like with each time before (frankencastle, war machine, a angel, 2099, one eye bearded 20 years younger, last man on earth, black, a mobster, easily brain washed by the jackal and so on) comics appealing to the youth isnt new either as its how we even had a 90s era of comics treasured by the ones complaining about current runs forgetting the old heads who did the same when they started reading. I love your channel, I'm not at all trying to be divisive or anything like that. Just sharing my take on the situation I'm aware, fully aware with franks fans it's not a shared take...but just like frank taught me...always be true to yourself and speak your peace.
Frank taking out Russo's crews and basically large groups by himself of with the help of one or two men....and Jon Bernthal's war cry everytime he fights or has a shoot out...
I think the best explanation short of plot armor is who Ghost Rider was working with at the time and a line Doctor Strange uttered about Ghost Rider vs. Worldbreaker Hulk. Doctor Strange said Ghost Rider avenges and protects the innocent, and that was why Ghost Rider wouldn't take on Hulk at the time, because the people Ghost Rider would have to defend from Hulk were *not* innocent in Strange's own words. Hulk was avenging the wrongs committed on him by the Illuminati of Marvel Comics. Fast Forward to the incident Punisher was hit with the Penance Stare in question. As some pointed out, he had a plot-device in his back pocket to help, but further, Ghost Rider was trying to defend the Thunderbolts, particularly General Ross/Red Hulk, who again, was not an innocent man since he did literally try to murder Punisher before Ghost Rider fought him. And one thing not discussed is the time Ghost Rider literally vaporized an angel with the stare (unintentionally) just because the angel tried to lie to him about the nature of his powers. I conclude it's less the feather, and more that Frank was protected by the fact that he was actually the *more* innocent party than the person the Rider was trying to avenge. But the feather did definitely play a role as it was shown Frank is not entirely immune to the stare without one.
He ISN'T immune. In the comic he had someone shield him secretly which is how he avoided it the first time. Second time it was used on him he got dropped to his knees in tears. Maybe read the whole damn issue befoee ya spout bs? 😂😂😂
