"Ten bullets through one hole" is the philosophy that brought Hornady® Manufacturing from a two-man operation in 1949, to a world-leading innovator of bullet, ammunition, reloading tool and accessory design and manufacture today.
At Hornady® Manufacturing, ammunition is more than our livelihood. It's a major part of our daily life.

This is the technique of a good teacher. If you walk into a science class and the instructor is wearing a white lab coat you know you’re in the right place. I had a science teacher in high school who did nothing. He assigned reading and nothing else. I failed. I retook the class in summer school. The instructor wore a white lab coat. It was a completely different experience.
What are the odds of a 6mm PRC getting developed? Love my 6.5 prc, but think with the types of bullets come out these days and the 6 creemoor having similar ballistics to the old 243 just being able to utilize new bullet designs better, I would love to see a 6 PRC hit the market and be able to push a couple hundred more fps out of the case.
My first time shooting a gun was my grandpas ruger mark iv .22 pistol! My first gun I "owned" (before i could actually own it while I was still living at home) was a hand me down .380 ruger lcp. Dont currently own any rugers but i plan on getting a 10/22 cause theyre classics and a mark iv like my grandpas. Maybe a ruger revolver some day down the line but ive got some other revolver manufacturers id like to own as well.
That WAS true, the "shoot more and shoot better" part is factual but the "it will cost you less" is a lie, it use to cost you less when those items such as brass, primers, powders, the only thing I'd say is sorta cheap is the actual bullets or projectiles, they may not be cheap but there the least expensive part of the equation, at least in south MS that is, unless you've got a honey hole spot to buy reloading component's from for next to nothing it's cheaper to just buy the ammo factory loaded and that's still not cheap, but it's cheaper than reloading it yourself, shotgun is cheaper than rifle to load for and I do agree with him on it for that, it's not cheap but cheaper, I'll always load my own shells for dove season, rifle... yea I've got all of the components for the calibers I shoot, yes you can tailor it to your gun and liking, it's just costly to do it, I've still using from when it was a lot cheaper than it is now, use to load and shoot a lot more now can't much to afford to spend the money on it sadly, some here and there, a brick of primers here and there, a 1-4lbs of powder here or there some times if it breaks down to be cheaper I'll go with the 8lbs, it is some what cheaper not by much if any, gun shows can sometimes be your friend on that, sometimes lol, brass isn't terrible, lots of my buddy's shoot the same calibers and they'll give me there brass, I'll use my brass, very rarely buy brass but if it's a good price why not, more can never hurt if its a good deal, but for even me most times the factory loaded ammo is the way to go, saves a lot when it comes down to it, granted not near as fun sitting up at night in the reloading room cramming some shells and cartridges together, but hey to each there own, MAKE RELOADING CHEAP AGAIN
Listened to this podcast on my phone today. Came to see the elk picture, and the Ruger engineers. Good listen it was. Never realized that cold hammering could produce barrels to that tolerance. My first handgun was a Ruger 357 Blackhawk.
Does windage really matter? I think the best distance to do this is with at least 0.5 seconds or greater time of flight. Anyhow the app is great but it only serves Hornady ammo and a select few others. The ammo library is not very comprehensive and Hornady is never clear neither contactable about ammo library development for 4DOF calculator.
How did you like your ec9s? I had a bad experience with one couldn't hit a barn door with it. It was probably my 8th pistol I bought and never had a problem with any of the other pistols.
The math of the 5 shot example for height at 7min 28s, is not labelled correctly and threw me off. You say shot 5 was high but you gave it a negative value (so it was actually low but you labelled it high). Anyhow I understand the process. Just think Cartesian coordinates
Hair spray, deodorant, setting spray, they sometimes use butane, i remember using hair spray as a teen, and it always has a specific smell Then as an adult using a can of butane to refill a lighter, exact same smell
Just the number of times the 6.5 creedmoore is referenced in these comments tells me everything i need to know about this bullet and the people that use it.
