Omg I found it! I live in Northern California, inland off the coat and 1 night only I heard this along the tree line of our orchard. It was amazing! I'd never heard anything like it before and I've lived around here some 30+ years. I had no idea what it was, but was fascinated & recorded it. So cool, owls! 😁
Excellent video and instructions, thank you. For many years, I've always created my own Christmas cards (usually over 70 each Christmas) but, having a small home-based printing business, it was somewhat easy. When 3D printers first hit the market a few years ago, we got ourselves a Makerbot and printed a small 50mm diameter Christmas tree decoration with an angel playing a horn and this was placed in the card that we'd printed. Your celery paper idea sounds like a great idea for a card.
Very nice and great idea! I live in an area where I see lots of raccoons and deer and the occasional bear so I might try this! I'm going to be making some stamps for my dog's paw prints. What type of bake clay do you use? I have seen others say they used Amazing Mold Rubber for the stamps, did you use the Amazing Mold Putty? I plan to stamp fabric and was wondering which ones work best on denim. I tried stamping with play dough on a cotton denim fabric but that didn't work at all.
I used the Alumilite Amazing Mold Putty Kit. I forget what kind of bake clay I used. Fimo, Sculpey, etc. all would work equally well, I suppose. Stamping little prints on denim sounds like it could be really cute! I think it could work well as long as you use some kind of paint or ink that is suitable for fabric. Also, you might want to "set" the paint with a hot iron after it has had a chance to dry. Good luck with your project!! :-)
Susan Brackney Thank you. I have some old Fimo that I’m going to try revitalizing so I’ll try that, and I’ve ordered the mold putty kit. I’ll let you know if it works with the denim. I am thinking that maybe different types of denim may work better or worse depending on whether it is cotton or polyester blend. I will try some different fabrics to see. Thanks for the suggestion about the iron. I’ll do that.
