Gen5 Camaro's have the same cheap design with the clutch and brake sharing the same reservoir. Great video, but if you have a nice car (non-European made car), get a separate clutch reservoir. Either way, this is the best technique to bleed a clutch in a couple minutes. The remote bleeder lines are hard to install, plus they don't work as well as this method.
Tengo mismo problema ala hora de insertar la llabe prende tablero luces pero no da marcha nada y lo que beo que no marca la gasolina sera el motor de arranque el sensor del cigüeñal o modulo cas o modulo de gasolina alguien me puede ayudar

I have new spark plugs, new alternator, new starter new battery but still like my car lights turned on it just won’t start occasionally and it’s super frustrating so I’m gonna watch the rest your video. I’m so excited my BMW always has issues glad I found u
Did the car crank but not start? Or was it neither cranking nor starting? I’m in the same predicament with my 535I right now but it cranks but not start.
It would not crank or start. If yours is cranking but not starting, then your issue is something else. I'd probably make sure the fuel pump is working in your situation.
I have bmw 5 series 2012 528i , no crack , no ignition and battery is new . Car would not start . Transmission malfunction showing and break pedal hard. What should I do ?
Nice video! My client's own had a similar issue so I bleed the clutch and still to no avail. I've even replaced only the kit inside the upper clutch but the problem of a sponge clutch and no gear still persist. I've checked scrutingly for signs of leakage carefully while someone pressed the clutch pedal and I found out that the down clutch nipple doesn't hold clutch hydraulic fluid! It goes out gently, and also the clutch fluid was replaced with a new one. Nevertheless, it's still very darkened in color. Please, how do I fix the issues? Darkened fluid, soft clutch pedal, difficulty shifting into gear 1 ,2 and reverse, and most especially the leak at the down clutch bleeder or nipple.
I did this earthed my engine it started replaced earth strap with genuine ground strap fine worked 6/8 starts came out to drive exactly the same as before ? 🤔 no crank no start ?
Hello, my alternator has been refurbished before around 25k KM and now i an experiencing 14.9-15v while driving and 14.9 when idling with most electronics off do you think it needs a new regulator ?
That does sound a bit high but I would try measuring with a second meter to confirm before I did anything. Usually an unregulated alternator puts out a lot more then 15 volts. What made you decide to check to voltage?
@@TrulyMotors mind you this is using the cluster test which deffinelty would be showing 0.1 to 0.2 less and while driving with everything i turn on including ac and seat heaters i still get 14.7-14.9 constantly flickering between those numbers and never 14.8 at idle with electronics off its 14.9-15 flickering constantly so is there a reason for it to be anything else than a regulator because i would just change it out to be safe if that is the most probabale cause
For those wondering about the 4x4 light, that’s a result of the battery being disconnected. Something to do with the steering angle sensor. To fix it you literally need to drive and turn the wheel from lock to lock and then it fixes itself
Got a 2008 528xi, 2nd new battery on it already & one day it wouldn’t start then awd malfunction light came on. I started by jumping it under the hood to jumping the battery. If it sits over night it won’t start up again unless I jump it what can be the issue? Someone mentioned that it could be the alternator? Not sure
Test the voltage at the battery while it's running to make sure the alternator is working. It should be over 13 volts while it's running and around 12.5 when the car is off.
I would start with the battery. Once you're sure you have a good battery, then do the test I did with the jumper cables in the video and go from there. If it fixes you're problem then ground strap. Otherwise the starter would probably be a safe bet.
Was this a full delete? Mid Muffler and rear resonators? I want to start out with only a Mid Muffler delete. I miss my loud ass Chrysler 300c with the 5.7L Hemi. So I want to make this car kinda loud too but not too loud lol.
Car doesn’t have no power at all. While trying to jump, car emits lights and everything works for a few seconds and dies again. Do you think bad battery? Tried to start but just cranks when trying to jump
Double check the connections to the terminals on the battery but if it's completely dead, it's most likely a bad battery. A dud battery could keep it from running, BMWs are super weird about having good batteries.
Good video. Your ground probably got damaged when they did the oil change I would say. Still it wouldn’t be a bad idea for all of us with BMWs to add an extra ground. I may just do that just for kicks and giggles.
HOPE U SEE THIS You most def you yo shi dawgy, i got a question i got a 06 235i was running good and all parked it one night next morning didn’t wanna turn on, I would but key in and only light would come on break paddle was hard as well. I went and replaced my realy, 4, number 5 amp fuses and 2 big green 30 amp fues and it fired up was running it the whole day all good it was even running better then before 100%, night time comes I park it, morning comes and it don’t start up again, just doing basically the same thing as this car I put my key in no crank just lights come on and break paddle is hard still, it’s a push to start as well HOPE U SEE THIS DAWGY OR SOMEONE

I would start with making sure your battery has a good 12.5 volts. Also make sure the connections on the battery terminals are good. If they're loose they can move around and work intermittently.
My bmw 2009 328! Trunk started opening by itself 2 month ago only for 2 day and then back to normally problem 2 months later started again when the car is on and when I stopped in red lights trunk started making a sound. 4 days ago my car doesn’t want to start. And the trunk problem is still there. Does any one had experience this same issue?
My bmw wont start at all. Got a new battery car ran fine for a week then was dead again. Tow guy said the car was getting power but not turning over. Jumped it again. Ran for a week or two and died again. Can the ground strap be the cause? Edit: figured it out i had actuator issues with my front doors and didnt even think about it because i just saw it as a minor inconvenience that can be fixed any time. Well the actuators wound uo being parasitic to the battery. The actuator basically kept the car thinking someone was trying to constantly lock/unlock the door. Got actuators fixed..1200 later..no issues. Again an example of owner neglect..not the fault of bmw
Hey this is a great video! but I can’t seem to figure out if it’s the same issue with my 2008 bmw 535xi. My alternator was bad so we replaced it but beforehand we replaced the battery. Battery wasn’t the issue however we left the new battery in. This was about a month ago and today I attempted to replace the battery back to the old one, we had to jump start it and it turned on after a few times trying and leaving it connected for a good 30 min. Left it on for 1 hour and turned it off and tried turning it on a few times but wouldn’t work. We reapplied the new battery and same thing, this time it wouldn’t make a sound while turning on but all the electrical components work and it was reading 12.1 v to 12.3v. Do you think it may be the starter after attempting to start up the vehicle after many many times? Or what could it be
It could be a bad ground like in the video. You can can get proper voltage with a bad ground as long as you're not cranking the starter. Then once you try to start it, the starter doesn't have enough ground and nothing happens. I would recommend trying the jumper cable method I used in the video!
Great video and instructions. I am in teardown mode now. One question; did you only need to lock the cams on the passenger side? I did not catch if there was a tool for drivers side.
Thanks, there are cam locks on both sides of the engine. Some people use a block of wood in between the cams to keep them from spinning, but I like the cam locks a lot more.
