Hi. ive done the full cli command and assigned the switch in the modes tab. I changed all 3's into 7s brcause i want to use switch 6 on my controller. No video now. How do i reset the vtx?
Another incredibly useful video, Ryan, thank you!! How would you suggest reinforcing the camera? I see you use a print. I have a Nano 90 that took a hard hit and now the threads are stripped on one side. What is the best way to keep that from happening, the 90’s aren’t cheap. Any thoughts on how to mount a camera with stripped threads? E6000?
My thingiverse (rquellet) has several protective nano 90 mounts. For stripped threads, I think dried on e6000 might do the trick. Let's some e6000 dry on the threads, then screw the lens in
Hello Ryan, after following your steps, the video on my Goggle was gone (black screen) even after scanning. LEDs in the VTX are solid blue and red. I tried to reflash the VTX's FW, however, it only works on FW Rev 06022023. I have whoop lite. Could you advise what I'm missing?
Mine came broken out of the box, and there was no documentation that was needed when I had to reflash it! I messed with it for three days and looked around to find all of the configuration settings to get it back no thanks to HDZero!
Thanks for this informative video, but I'm still not sure what this quads video system is...? Can I use regular goggles, or does it have to be a HD goggle
Hi Ryan, I’m having trouble. When I am in 540/60 my sticks won’t allow me back into the camera settings (throttle Center and hold right) so I can’t get back to the other camera resolutions! Any suggestions?
Hi Ryan, Yes that worked. I am concerned now that if I changed it out in the field I would be screwed unable to use the stick controls and be locked out. Is it work passing the issue on? I have been dealing with Goa a fair bit from Divimath is it worth me letting him know perhaps?
hey ryan i cant get my eco to connecto to my goggles any tips? is there a firmware update im supposed to do? there is no eco specific firmware as far as i can tell
@@RyanQuellet thanks for the response. My eco would not power up out of the box. I had no blue light on eco, which firmware was my last ditch effort. After some research and back and forth with hdzero… The ones they are sending out are wired up differently, skipping the 5v pad on the vtx and instead wiring it to 2 BECS on the back of the eco. I ended up wiring it up to the 5v pad and have had no further issues. Hdzero support however suggests I switch it back to the BECS.
@@RyanQuellet I have plenty of pictures and video of everything. Have also spoke with someone else having power issues where “pushing down” on the vtx would allow it to power up.
Hey Ryan, took the leap of faith after sitting on the fence for over a year. Just purchased HDZ goggles, nano 90 kit for a fresh build and analogue module for my existing quads. Current goggles HDO2s with rapid fire. When using the rapid for with HDZ goggles the lower third of the screen is jittery horizontal lines with black dashes on the very edges, unify Evo VTX. Any ideas or any links that might help? Any advise would be awesome. Thank you
I don’t think that’s sped up, but man does it share look like it is. I need to hear them talking and narrating the track for me to not think it’s a timelapse
Hi Ryan. thanks for this video. I set the team race mode 1 and pasted the values into the CLI, only changing the aux channel value to suit my remote control. Everything works as you said and the vtx stays off or turns off if I activate the switch even if I leave it off it continues to heat up. Does yours stay cold?
I would give my left nut for hdzero pure-Analog goggles with 46+ degree fov…. If one thing is clear. The analog market is clearly still relevant as the HD systems stole the spotlight.
I'm truly partaged on this one, it's like 14% lighter than the og whoop light bundle and 17% cheaper, it's not an incredible economy for something that is not as good in term of quality and still much bigger and heavier than analog, but on the other way it's still one more option, if you have the goggles you can fly an analogish quad without bothering with the adaptor and the analog module. Not truly the development I hoped (more quality/inboard DVR/more range/real cheaper, pick one) but it still is interesting, feels a bit like a return to frost byte tho
Real Question How Deep an HDZero Goggle capable to build Lower Cost goggle with pupiliarry distance support , like i did in DigitalFPViD. It has tobe cheaper than emax hdzero. Wanna see ready stock for indonesia stock in not more than Rp1.000.000,- (challange).
Whoops are fun. HDzero footage is nice to watch/share. Nice smooth laps there especially coming over the top on down. One of these times I’ll get into this GOW stuff
What !!!! I could have digital fpv system for the price of a digit camera!!! ... I was milked for a year to buy unreliable Vtx to be told we had a better product for less money .... This is messed up.
