This starts looking as good as some of the other digital alternatives. The dinamic range is gigantic. Imagine when we have combined channels and a higher latency mode. The HD0 team is doing a great job at serving not just the racers.
Full disclosure is always way better than rabid fanboyism, partly why I take you most seriously of all the HDZero testing crew! Looks lovely, but has limitations as expected. 720/60 is also my fave though, and on the micro v1 I particularly like the image for some reason.
Seems nice for cruising or cinewhoop mode when needed better view of enviroment details, won't be my favorite but clearly an interesting option for futur projects
That looks great for cruising new spots. I can understand why my SB VRX won't be getting 90FPS. My O4Xs couldn't handle it anyway, but why can't we have 1080P 30 for the VRXs? Is it too small a market for the effort or is it a technical limitation?
Which VTX was this one? I’m leaning more and more towards HDZ for my next system. I fly mostly proximity and around buildings etc. More videos in these type or locations would be a huge help to many if possible. Flying analogue I’m used to break up its not an issue for me I can still fly through it. It would be type of breakup HDZ will give which is most interesting for me. The video here looks real nice What did you mean about turning fast is uncomfortable at 30fps?
Lower resolution modes are much better at handling breakup and the noise looks more random than this. Turning fast at low fps my head feels laggy. It's like playing VR at low fps
@@RyanQuelletit's strange to me... Higher fps always felt weird to me... Long before digital and people were sharing higher (60) fps gopro videos .. They felt weird to me... On my TV at home, when a show is played at higher fps it feels weird to me and I don't like it. I think that might be part of why I like this mode so much. The lower penetration really doesn't bother me because I don't fly places where that matters... I know I'm an odd ball
If analog is about 30fps and will retransmit the same frame to get 60fps, is it possible for hdzero to do the same? A slow cruise is about all I can handle on 1080p30
Hello Ryan. I tried the 1080p30 mode with the HDZero Nano Lite Camera and the Whoop Lite VTX, and the video in the goggles appears laggy. I simply adjusted the camera settings through the OSD menu. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or this camera or VTX are not optimal for this mode? I also tried 1080p30 with the Nano Lite camera and the Race V3 VTX, but the outcome is the same. Both the goggles and the VTX have the latest firmware versions installed from the official website.
Do you still need the replacement lens for 1080? This looks alot better than before. But I guess when I tried it. It was just shitty version of 720. And not actually 1080
If only they would do 1080 90 or better than 720 with 90fps I'd be sold I'm probly gonna go walksnail....but I love the hdzero goggles because of the input and outputs plus they look good.....but the penetration of hdzero isn't there yet
Looks v nice... But I doubt I'll be using it... I think you wouldn't want to fly much faster than what you were flying there. I'm more keen to try the 90 fps when I finally get my PC sorted so I can rebuild and start using my goggles I got back in February😢... First TPM warning... Fixed with new BIOS FW... Then a few weeks on I get an LSA warning... Fixed with clean install of windows.... Then I get a memory integrity warning!... Fixed again with clean reinstall... Now I have an app and browser control warning and windows is unable to access widows security.... All within a few weeks of each other! Hardware's all fine... Last gen AMD cpu and gpu so widows 11 was designed on this gen of chips. It's beginning to boil my blood and getting massive fpv withdrawals😵.... Oh..... Rant over
In other words, should it be a cruiser? HDzero has a lot of options for a lot of people and that is the bottom line. You want to be freestyler okay. You want to be a photographer? 1080 30 it's yours. HDzero has you covered!
