It is a fun project, isn't it? 🙂 I also love how effective it is at cleaning & stain removal. I've been making this detergent for more than 10 years and still love it. In the beginning I used to stir up the gel with a yard stick. I now use a paint mixer attachment with a power drill. Way more efficient and makes the mixture more consistent.
Yes, the light is on when the iron is plugged in. The light is on steady when heated to set temperature & when in use. The light will flash when it goes into standby mode when it's left on but not being moved around. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for this clear and concise video, which solved my problem of a lagging grinder! I knew it just needed cleaning out, couldn't figure out how to take it apart, and didn't want to break it trying! Coffee cheers! ❤
Check out my other video, a step by step of how I clean this coffee grinder with Minute Rice and the brushes. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cjm_fmALfTw.html Thanks for watching!
Thank you for an easy and straight to the point video. I made them and my Lab and Newfie love them! I was buying pill pockets but I love how these are made at home with just a few ingredients.
My cuisinart was struggling to start. It would try to churn but stop when you let go of the button. I pressed it long enough to put some rice through it and it seemed to have helped! It’s working for the time being now.
If it had been a while since the last cleaning, do the rice trick a couple more times during the week to see if it cleans out any more grounds stuck in the grinder. Glad you were able to get it working again. Thanks for watching. 🙂
The instructions do say the upper part is dishwasher safe but I've never done it because it's too difficult to get all the water out. If you have a fan, place the part in front of the fan on high speed with the grinder part laying on its side. Turn it over ever now and then to dry it out. If you don't have a fan, you can use a blow dryer on low or warm setting...NOT HOT. The hottest temp may melt or warp the plastic bean hopper. Hope this helps.
@@helpfulnatural thank you! I’ll try it. I was looking for replacement parts online to fix the issue. There is a bit of soap in it bc it was soapy water so hopefully it comes out! Thank you!
@@mykalamarie567 I also have a video showing how I clean this coffee grinder using Minute Rice...no water at all. (for future reference) Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cjm_fmALfTw.html
How do you clean your grinder? It’s looks so good! All the other videos have grinds caked in the burrs. I’m thinking about buying this model and would like to know how to keep it clean.
I have a video showing how I clean this grinder. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zwYkmuAv4TY.html Just so you know, this is a nice burr grinder and I did enjoy using it while I had it but.... the outside case is made of some sort of silicone material and after a couple of years, it starts to break down causing the entire surface to become horribly sticky. Nothing will remove the stickiness, I tried everything. 🙁
Thanks so much for the info. I have similar items do that when oils got on them. There’s no way to remove the stickiness. My grinder will be in my coffee bar far from my stove or counters, so hopefully I won’t have that issue. Your videos are so helpful!!
@@stephaniejenkins4163 My grinder wasn't in the kitchen either. It's not a coating from cooking or anything like that. The material itself breaks down. Check out some reviews on amazon where some uploaded pictures of the sticky surface. I wish I had done an update video before getting rid of mine.
And do you like the one you use better than the Bodum? I’m trying to decide which budget friendly model to purchase. I seen a lot of people complaining that Bodum has no customer service and doesn’t honor their warranty.
Me, mad at the instruction sheet, then watching you, that's clockwise! I guess I need a clock dial on the wall, even though I grew up with them, lol. I was going by lefty loosy, and it doesn't go that way. Thanks for your help!
I have another video showing how I clean this grinder using Minute Rice. It's great for cleaning out old clogs. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cjm_fmALfTw.html

I use a baby toothbrush to clean out the small areas like the chute. I have another video showing how I clean it. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zwYkmuAv4TY.html
If machine is grinding that fine, do you still need to use a pressurized basket on your espresso machine? Seems to reason a none pressurized basket would work?
I did try that but it still wasn't quite fine enough, the water ran right through the porta filter. When I bought a Breville Smart Grinder Pro, there was quite a difference in grind size/quality. It also had more options to dial in just the right setting for my non-pressurized porta filter.
Thanks for the response! Thats what I'm hearing elsewhere as well. I'm going to try this 3d printer holder for upper Burr holder that is suppose to allow for a much finer grind. Theoretically it "moves" the original settings 6 dots counter clockwise. Meaning if I put the bodum arrow on the espresso symbol it'll really be six spots beyond the ezpresso setting if I didn't do the modification. We'll see if it works out!
Cold brew typically uses a coarse grind. If using the Bodum grinder, turn the arrow on the bean hopper all the way to the right so that it aligns with the last dot which is also the setting for French press.
After disassembling and washing the hopper, water has become trapped between the clear top and black bottom. I’m not sure how it got in there and I can’t seem to get it out. Any suggestions?
I suggest laying the hopper on its side and sit a fan in front of it to speed up the drying. There are a lot of small nooks inside the feedtube so it may take a while to getting completely dry. I don't expose any of my coffee grinders to water because it's difficult to dry it all out. I have another video showing how I clean this grinder using Minute Rice which works great for removing trapped coffee grounds as well as the oils. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cjm_fmALfTw.html Hope this helps.
Should i use distilled water or normal water is enough for this?? And how much shelf life it will have.!? I wanted to do it as large scale ,so is it possible
I just use tap water. I've only made 1 bucket at a time so I don't know what the shelf life would be for multiples made all at once. With that being said, my 1 bucket lasts for at least 6 months and I've never had an issue with it.
How I got mine to work was to first make sure the iron was hot enough to steam. I then moved it back and forth on my ironing board to make sure it was steaming. I then lifted it just a few inches off of the board and while holding the iron horizontally, start pressing the steam button. It took several presses to get it going. After the steam burst happened, I was then able to use the iron vertically with the steam burst. Hope this helps.
It is a very good waffle maker, I love mine. I bought it after watching a channel called, hilahcooking. She used it to make mashed potato waffles among other delicious recipes. 😋
Which Exact parts are dishwasher safe? their website says “all parts are dishwasher safe besides the blender base” so does this mean the blade attachment can be put in the dishwasher or no?
I don't put any blender parts in the dishwasher myself, only wash them by hand. With that being said, the user manual that came with the blender should give some guidance as to which parts are dishwasher safe. I wouldn't put the gaskets in as they may warp and cause leaks.
My bean container does not rotate. Any advice before I bring it back to Costco?? The “instructions” that come with it are terrible. I put instructions in quotes since I don’t even really consider them instructions.
I used a silicone baking mat that can be purchased wherever baking supplies are sold. Craft stores that carry the Wilton brand of products usually have it in stock. Be sure to only buy the type that's in the video--plain silicone without the woven texture. The ones that appear to be woven have fiberglass pressed into them and should NEVER be cut into. Here is a link to the Wilton mat: www.amazon.com/Wilton-2105-5450-Silicone-Baking-Mat/dp/B071KT3QN3/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1SWRKHDY6PLGU&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3hH8UdGTB-EvdhXtoNqannpbZvtZQykA7e9IXZH6q6yeJB3scZUKtU1aQNxnVSO1fCYEqGAinDs4SnEth8HKmwRhU9iLsNM0difgz9cn3ptajnpJpmCn3Sb0loWaU8rIt5r3fMP4dVNSH8AFnTQTUlJTVxZldlocM44EZaztXZ3W_2YiTPf5tA448r6tJN3o2Fjdn_WPUwo8d7ydP0kCaxpcGvk7ul8gRpxj-ap097in0vJFWwX-udZUEcZygsSSDuqHUUbx_OYzbektYDGjuYUTKc7s76wrHSvNyn_K6Mk.4o0kE8gjzEZDZcAk4C3Q_xHZGous25itfTAoiprzdP8&dib_tag=se&keywords=wilton+silicone+baking+mat&qid=1713627481&sprefix=wilton+silicone+baking+mat%2Caps%2C101&sr=8-5
@@helpfulnatural oh alright I'll check my local craft store we have a few of them in my area ......I had to come to your video cause I wanted to see how can I make one homemade instead of waiting for one to get here in the mail and probably would be cheaper cause I can make a few of them in case one brake I'll have extra ones
Metal dredge - I cannot find this metal container anywhere. Are you able to share where it was purchased and how to spell that? I just received my Bodum burr Grinder with glass container. Thanks for the cleaning tip as I will be using oily beans for expresso on a regular basis.

The model # is: Tablecraft H-159 and that number is usually printed somewhere on the sticker. I found mine at Target but that was a long time ago, they no longer sell it.
