Back in 1966 or 67, downtown Laguna Beach on the PCH, a small music store had a man outside pulling in people that happened to be walking by the store. Two friends and I went in not knowing what to expect. Then they began to play and it was magical. They sounded just as good in person as on their recordings. Now, over fifty years later, I still can reflect on that magic moment. Still get chills thinking about it.
Linda canción. Eric Carmen dejo un legado de canciones tan bellas como las melodías. Por sus canciones el fue un Romántico... Tan bello. Ya estas con Dios. Nos, veremos, pronto.... RIP Eric Carmen 🕊️❤️❤️🕊️😢 Beautiful song. Eric Carmen left a legacy of songs as beautiful as the melodies. Because of his songs he was a Romantic... So beautiful. You are now with God. We will see each other soon.... RIP Eric Carmen 🕊️❤️❤️🕊️😢
When that beautiful man hits those high notes, my heart soars. I pray I'll see him on the other side. What a gift to the world God created when he made Eric Carmen. He makes our time here on earth SO MUCH RICHER. Thank you Lord, and thank you Eric❤
What an incredibly talented man.. . singer, songwriter, musician. It hurts so much to know that he is no longer with us. Sing with the angels now, Eric as you are one of them. You will never be forgotten and always loved and admired.😭
OMG Only know do I learn that Eric passed away in March of this year. What a terrible loss. Thank you for all your unique compositions. The word Song does not cover the mini symphonies you created.
Loved the Raspberries, 3 of the 4 albums were with this line-up, thinking with the last line-up they parted too soon, Eric looks so healthy here- R.I.P. Eric and thanks for bringing many people joy in your music now and in the future
Dear Eric you left us heartbroken, your music and melodies were beautiful there will not be another Eric you will be madly missed by your fans Rest in Peace dear and wonderful man❤
You know what....I've been hemming and hawing on that for over a year. I tell ya what, if I can get back into my old computer I'll throw the whole concert up here. Give me some time though.
It's a shame that those of use that listened to a LOT of rock and roll in the 60s and 70s only knew Raspberries (HORRIBLE name btw) for "Go All the Way' and Eric for "All By Myself" because these were both lame songs. Just since he died I've heard a lot of FAR better songs including "I Wanna Be With You", "Lets Pretend" and this one....RIP Eric
Dear Eric, We, your friends, fans, and family want to thank you for your musicianship, songwriting, producing, music, making that GRAND PIANO 🎹 actually weep during "All By Myself", "The Raspberries 1970-1975", and still the GREATEST POP ROCK for the last 56 years! We have just found out that you "slipped away quietly" on March 10, 2024. Condolences to your wife Amy, your children Clayton & Kathryn, your brother Fred(Karen) and your niece and nephew. I can already see the Glorious, Joyful, Sweeping Melodies you are playing to worship our creator and atonement for sin, Jesus!❤ Sending you unconditional ❤️ love for writing ✍️ the soundtrack to our lives through your vast music catalog. See you on the Heaven side, dear friend.
