Hi, my name is Richard. I made this channel after searching for ideal flashlights for my own use. I will try to tell everything I know about flashlights to help you decide and evaluate them before buying. I am always open to suggestions, so don't hesitate and please comment about your needs, questions and even about what you do not like in the review.
Excellent review, thank you. It is a beautiful flood light paired with a medium thrower. I imagine it would be a good walking light at 1500 lumens sustained of flood while having some throw there when needed.
Very well made video. Thank you for the review. The right shots were especially helpful, and i enjoyed the comparison of a typical hardware store flashlight.
Magnífica linterna, compré una en AliExpress pero no he tenido oportunidad de ir al campo ha probarla, muero de ganas por probarla en el campo, gracias por compartir este magnífico video, like y me suscribo.
This thing is such a beast, had mine for about 6 months now and I truly love it, nothing can compare for the price, nothing about it feels budget either. Highly recommended if you are in the market for a strong flooder, that still has useful throw. Those top down view shots were awesome man, really shows how the light fills all the space.
Great reviews on the TS22, I've been searching for FLOOD flashlight and the TS22 is on my mind.. is there any other flood flashlight that is compatible with this one?
Great video! For $100 or so WITH batteries when on sale, it is really impressive. Right now it is on sale for $75!!! I really appreciate the screw port to use on tripods as well. My only change would be a loop attachment to help secure it when carrying outside of the holster to help prevent damage.
You can use that tripod mount to fit a Convoy handle, it fits perfect but the bolt that comes with the handle is poor quality and needs swapping for a better bolt.
I am now in the rabbit hole. I was looking for my first 18650 flashlight, as I have been using only AA lights for years now (Olight S2A, Lumintop Tool AA). After watching so many reviews, I wanted to try the Wurkkos WK03. Then I noticed that the Wurkkos FC11 has some improvements (high CRI options, better side switch, etc.). And now I am considering this wonderful TS22 with regulated output that can sustain ~500 lumens for hours. And it's a 21700. 😅 I've always loved flashlights since I was a kid. I remember those old Eveready and Maglite flashlights, and how expensive it was to replace batteries. We are spoiled by the options today. PS your English is fine, and I couldn't place the accent until you mentioned it in the comments. I live in the Philippines, and have always admired your basketball teams over the decades. Many here are familiar with Arvydas Sabonis. 🙂
Does the thermal regulation on this light work correctly? I know Simon has had issues where certain lights won't throttle below a certain percentage which will allow them to reach dangerous temperatures if left on high or turbo. (L7, 4x18, etc). L7 will hit 75C + on high
As an input to which color tint we like the most, my favorite tint has always been 4500K, but 4000K and 5000K are good for me too. I do not prefer tints below 4000K or above 5000K, but may nudge that value as high as 5700K. Thanks again for the nice video!
After watching this video a second time, I wondered what your thoughts were on why the S11 had a longer runtime than the M21B? Are the drivers different? The 1800K tint will give a lower lumen output than the 4500K emitter, but if the drivers are the same wouldn't they still both have the same runtimes?
@@FlashlightTech Oh, that makes sense! I was thinking the S11 may have had a more efficient driver. I really like the M21B host so I'm glad the S11 isn't inherently better than the M21B host. Thank you for your reply Richard!🙏
Lovely comparison nightshots! I'm seeing a clear difference between this and the 4x18a but to my eyes, atleast from the video, I couldn't make out any difference against the L8. What do you think? Is there a clear difference in person? Also, congrats on 1k sub!
Hey! could you help me i have a convoy 3x21D. the torch lights up, but the key doesn't work. cannot turn off the light or change the brightness. where could be the problem? also, when I try to charge the flashlight, the light comes on when charging! is it normal??
Such a rarely adequate review! You mentioned all things that are needed and skipped by other people, especially time before light becomes loose its brightness on each mode. Thats really essential! So i can see that turbo mode can be used up to 2 minutes before dimming, high mode on spot - 6 min and on flood - 10 min, and medium mode - without limits. Your accent sounds like you are russian-speaking, arent you?
@@FlashlightTech would you help me with recommendation which of these 3(4) to get - sofirn hs20 with xhp50, or hs20 with sst40 (more distinct hotspot?), or h25lr (with 1 white & 1 red led), or wurkkos hd15? Or which ones to avoid? If you know, sure. Thanks ✨
I bought the 519a version recently, in 4500k, it is such a beautiful light, it almost looks like a force field around me and it's only the 10 degree version.
How does this compare to the S21B? Is it much bigger and less wieldy? Is it even worth buying since 21700 is so much better than 26650? Oh, and the issue of the intermittent contact is also in the M21B, in my experience, as it also uses that pin contact at the head. I fixed it by swapping out the Molicell battery for a Liitokala one that is longer.
